The most deadly . . . Me-chan?
Aug. 11th, 2003 09:22 amMe-chan as a killing machine? Her kicks are deadly weapons?
Yes, I was laughing.
Chard, Me-chan, BoMC (Brother of Me-Chan), Kris, and I were together at Chard's house for RP. Not that the RP was the highlight mind you. (shh . . . Chard's at the library, can't really let him know what this is).
Well, okay, Me-chan and Shin Tomiko, the all mighty Akashic Sister (really brother)can kill with a single blow, but somehow remains quite merciful and repentant. I suppose it's something that you'd have to know her to get. She really is quite a wimp when it comes to standing up for herself (And Me-chan you know that was meant in the nicest possible manner).
Anyway, probably the highlight of the time was playing Fluxx, this awesome card game that takes about three seconds to learn and that anyone can win without quite being aware of why they won.
Oh, dinner was fun as well as vegetarian friendly. It's nice to actually be intelligent over conversation with people for once. And I do kinda miss having a 'family' dinner. I think we've gotten to the point where we, for the most part, eat in the same room more often than not.
Okay, to explain why I was so insistent on doing it yesterday and having you guys lug yourselves across town to pick me up when Kris didn't show up for more than an hour after the time: Yes, I put a lot on hold to get this day to work out. My mom wanted me to come into her work on Sunday, to get the invitations done, but I couldn't because her workday would have directly coincided with the time that the RP would be done. So, I went in on Saturday, hence giving up some work hours for Foltos. Which I'm going to have to make up this week. Trust me, I didn't do all this screwing with my schedule to sit at home with a hostile, golf-watching father.
But it all worked out. ^_^
Over and out.
