Interview Time:
Jul. 14th, 2010 06:23 pmBefore we being I want to thank people for the lovely things you've said. I mean it when I say that it means more than you'll ever know.
Anyway, interview time!
1. Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3. You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed
1. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Hmm...as far as annoying and kind of hampering, I'd have to say when people (strangers, loved-ones, etc.) talk at about a mile a minute, leave my poor little brain behind, and then end it expecting some answer.
2. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Double hmm...I don't really have a particular favorite per say. Vanilla's the best overall for putting toppings on (we have a rose jelly that's kind of delish on top of ice cream). But an ice-cream shop in the area has both a lovely salted-caramel flavor (though tbh, I'm kind of tired of the salt + caramel combo), and a balsamic strawberry.
Mostly, excepting flavors worthy of an Iron Chef battle, it's hard to go wrong.
3. What is the theme of your wall calendar if you have one?
I have a Woodland Park Zoo calendar this year. Animals! July is snake month.
4. What is your favorite breakfast food?
I'm on a cinnamon toast kick, right now. But overall, the best breakfast treat ever is berries (of any kind) with fresh cream.
5. If you could have any non-elemental based power, what would it be?
First, telepathy or any other of the "psychic" powers is right out. I know myself well enough that they'd devolve into a pool of suck almost instantly. They're also the types of powers I'd be most likely to get.
Hmm...but other than that, I could imagine a few powers that would be awesome.
Super-strength/super-speed would be helpful on a day to day basis. It would also be akin to waking up with a new sensation of my body being powerful.
Flying would be fun. It would also solve most of my transportation problems. The question would be if I really wanted people to be all "OMGWTF flying girl!" plus there'd probably be paperwork required with regards to airspace laws. Plus, wouldn't you hate having midair collisions with crows? But it'd be fun.
One that would be discreet but highly useful would be Awesome Luck. I'm just saying.
But you know, the one power that I would end up choosing is the ability to open any door and have it lead to anywhere in the world (the universe). I don't think I'd want any corresponding time-travel abilities, but the chance to go anywhere instantaneously, or even to open the door and watch from the threshold would be wonderful. There'd probably have to be limitations on the destinations where I could go, but I think most of them would still be very good.
(P.S. if I could have an elemental power: water, all the way)
