Good newses!
Sep. 23rd, 2004 09:22 pmFirst, HoP isn't dead. Yeah, I know I was feeling a bit paranoid after what Naelly told me, but I believe Megumi just gave us the first hand news that this HoP problem is very much temporary.
Second, I'm fegging broke (which isn't good news), but there's hope (short of me say, finding a job, which I'm probably going to have to do for next semester, if I want to keep up this lavish lifestyle I lead). I've got about 2200 in my checking now, about 1681 of it going towards my rent, which leaves me with about 500 to get through the rest of the school year. I'll count on maybe about 40 or less coming back to me through selling my books at the end of the semester, which will then be shoved out into buying next semesters books (and next semester, I am not taking more than 15 hours. Reclaim my life). The KH CD that got shipped and never arrived and so I went out and replaced it has been credited back to Megumi, and barring that it's not inconvenient for them, I can deposit that. And I have a birthday coming up in fair recent time, and I'm going to have to be pretty firm with my parents on this please get me either something useful or something cashlike for my birthday thing.
Yeah, FFXI is pretty much the only extra curric, I can afford to do. I'm just praying that the only things I have to use money for other than buying books and keeping my FFXI content IDs' active for the rest of the year is laundry and Sunday night dinner, with maybe an occasional flut cone thrown in or an I-night movie.
Third, I'm addicted to the Bonnie Pink CD, although three songs are pretty much constantly on loop. I posted the lyrics to the English ones. "Bedtime Story" I recall telling Starry wasn't that great, but it's lodged itself into my head. "I just want you to be happy" is catchy in a sad way, and I have a feeling that people who know me relate only to well to the lyrics. The third, a Japanese song, is seriously addicting. It's just catchy in a subdued way. If I hadn't heard all the singles before buying the album, I would have probably loved those too. I'd love to do a review, but seriously, I listened to 'The Answer~Hitotsu ni natru toki' way too much. Seriously, if I could use the money to do another CD order, I'd definitely buy another Bonnie Pink CD. *is becoming a fangirl* Onicchi's going to have to not fail on her next CD else my journal's going to get a new layout!
Also, happy birthday to just about everyone who's had a birthday today because there are a lot of you.
Over and out.
