Reality no longer bites
Jun. 24th, 2003 05:25 pmWell, reality has finally come to a point where it's able to be dealt with. So here's a little update.
- Newman Hall called me today, Me-chan. I know that you've chose Illini Towers, but I, put on stand-by housing, think that bad food, Catholic sponsored housing and all is good enough for me. Yes, so they have openings, and they're about the same price as the university halls. So, I called my dad, and he says that he has no objections to it. Which means: I have housing!! I got a bed on campus with my name on it. Take that Standby. Not just that, but Newman Hall is the absolute closest place to the quad, which means that I don't have to hike a mile every day just to get to my classes.
- I believe I have a job. Foltos managed to find some yard work that I could do. Which means that I might not be out of my savings account like I thought I might be.
- We're dog-sitting. All I have to say is that Strider is the equivalent of a horny teenage boy, and Maggie despite being spayed, doesn't seem to care. *shakes head* Dad's ticked off, Mom's amused.
- Axis is actually going. Last night I managed to get past the last part I had written in my little black book. And I've devised much clearer ideas about what's going to happen exactly.
Over and out.
