My week. The edited version.

I went and did some shopping with my mother, and reminded myself of how much she actually spends. We went to the Geneva Commons and she dragged me to a home store and Williams Sonoma. Williams Sonoma, the cooking place. Because we all know how much our family cooks. *cough cough* Mom, went and got some dishes at the home store, a set of toile plates. Also she picked up part of my christmas prezzies. ^_^ I know what they are, but Dagas isn't going to spoil the whole kit for everyone. Besides the better stuff comes later. But she goes to Williams Sonoma saying that she just wants a catalog. *rolls eyes* But look they had bowls that she was looking for and they had plates that had Santa on them. And the people who work there are extremely attentive. Just an observation. And they have food. Another observation.

But here's the happy part: Dagas is getting FFX and FFX-2 for Christmas, and the strategy guides, because we all know how lame she would be without those guides. Her lameness might just compare to Me-chan's ^_^ Okay, back to first person now.

Anyway, I know that no one is going to bother with prezzies, much less something that costs money, so I'll skip anything with the wishlist, although anything written, drawn, or done especially for me would be so appreciated that I would permanently rent out a part of my soul to you. ^_^

Tuesday, I got some hairs cut, and visited the high-school again. See, here's the problem with me and haircuts. I have no sense of length or proportion, so I'll go in for a trim and come out with something that is quite a bit the opposite of a trim. I'm thinking chin length or slightly below, waves included. The woman who did my hair though didn't know that I'm actually a wavy-haired person when it's not all stretched out. So chin length was with my hair straightened and my hair is now about jaw length. Too short for me, although the more fashionably aware of my acquaintances (read all of them) seem to like it. But right now I'm taking bets on whether or not I'm going to have a crew cut in two years at the rate that my hair is shortening. Up until about a year and a half ago, my hair came about halfway down my back, with the longest parts almost reaching my waist. Then I suddenly got it cut to just above my shoulders. And again about a year after that I got another cut to just below my chin (my old length, and the one that I like). *shakes head* I need to learn what the meaning of the word trim is.

Wednesday, I went with Sabi and Me-chan to visit Yume. So we got to see her and get some updates about the life of the 'mother hen' Again, one of those things that make me realize how lucky I am, especially considering my health as compared with hers. That's all that there needs to be said about that here. Oh, and I apologize profusely for ruining the whole thing. I enjoyed some of it, but it just triggered something. So nyar. ^^;; But I'm happy to have seen Yume-chan again.

Thursday, that was a holiday right? I know. Thanksgiving dinner and all. My grandparents (father's side) came over and we had dinner. Not much to say about that, except for the fact that I know have to think about something that I want from them after all. Not easy, not really. I just don't care about anything anymore. I just want to live. Patrick called. You know, that older cousin of mine that is trying to become a game designer. ^^ Unfortunately, we were just about to have dinner, so we couldn't talk for long. Apparently my Nan and my Uncle Mike might be going back to England, (heard from my mother, not Patrick). The uncle because of the 'issues' he's been having, and my Nan because she figures that if Mike gets deported to England, she should probably go as well. *wails at the thought of not seeing her Nan*

Friday is just Friday. Nothing much happened. Just went to the library and spent sometime on the internet. Checked out the stuff that Gaia is coming out with for winter, and finding someway to get the donation sent in time to get my letters for November. Nyar. I'm so obsessed, even when I don't care.

^_^

In other random news, I managed to finish KH this morning. This means I went through an entire game in a week. Again nyar. I'm surprised how much I missed that game and how much I managed to squeeze out of it. I even managed to get the special secret ending.

Just some notes on KH.

Ridiculous lines:
"This ship runs on happy faces!"
"I have some unfinished business with this puppet."
Any speech the Sora makes.
Any speech that Ansem makes pertaining to darkness.

Things I haven't noticed before:
Going to Wonderland, particularly where the queen's castle is and talking to them, you can get three sets of lines. One before the mock trial that's held while you're doing the world. One that's done between the trial and Kairi's rescue, and another set after Kairi's rescue. I knew about the first two, but I've never noticed the third one.

The best reason for synthesizing all the items in the Moogles' item workshop is just to hear the line from the Moogle that's furthest away from the furnace thingie. It goes to declare Sora a master sythesist, and then one of those little boxes that come up whenever you earn or obtain something comes up and says "Sora is a master synthesist?" to which the Moogle replies, "Just kidding" ^_^ At 3:00 a.m. it was very amusing, even if I can't remember the line.

Ansem is truly a l4m3 enemy. Lame enough for leet speak even. He makes me laugh. Which is something that I appreciate in a villian, if not something that is necessarily a good thing.

And the more that I see of KH, the more I realize that I'm not content with any pairing that's provided in the canon. I have a tendency to like Riku/Kairi at times, and I can tolerate Sora/Kairi, but Sora/Riku doesn't make sense except that it's yaoi and some people like it. It's because they're still mostly children, even if they are techinically teenagers in the game, and they are all childhood friends. And there's something that states that when people seek out romantic partners, they go for people who are somewhat strange to them. People know their childhood friends perhaps a bit too well for there to ever be a spark. It's the reason that the majority of people are not attracted to their siblings.

On an entirely different note, my space heater was acting up, and turning off spontaneously. So, I took some phillips heads and a set of pliers and took a few looks at the guts of the machine. Turns out that some of the wires had started to burn through and were singing the plastic outer coating. It's probably a good thing that it was only turning off spontaneously. And I do have the other one that still works, so it's not like my room is any more heater-free than it was before, just that the circulation isn't as good, and I hope that my dad doesn't notice that I'm using 900 watts instead of 600 watts. When we moved in about 5 years ago, I got in trouble for having it on anything above halfway up on 600 watts because that's what it took to heat up his office. Although I'm sure that his office is not a drafty room with no other source of heating.

*shrugs* That's all. Like anyone cares. Anything else I need someone willing to listen that I'm willing to talk to. *clings to Rodion and the other phantoms in her imagination* Oh, and I got a runner up prize for Rodya's profile. ^_^ Sad, ne?

Over and out.
