1. What genre of books do you typically enjoy?
I'm very much a non-fiction, trivia factoid geek and I own more books about writing than is healthy to admit to.
Fiction wise though, YA fantasy and science fiction all the way.
2. What's the silliest thing that ever happened to you?
Does sex count? That's usually pretty silly.
Hmm...things don't really happen to me, and usually if silliness is involved, then I'm the perpetrator. Or well, if not the perpetrator, than the one with the distinct aura of weirdness about her.
3. Can you cook?
I've got a few staples (mac and cheese, fettuccine alfredo, a lemony chicken dish, and a noodle dish with tons of veggies), but

4. Most favorite musical band or artist to listen to?
It changes a lot. Currently, I'm really on a SNSD/Girl's Generation kick as well as into Korean pop music in general, but Shawn Colvin, Onitsuka Chihiro, Robyn, and Poets of the Fall have all held up well even when I'm not into their particular genre phase.
5. Have you ever wished on a star?
Sometimes, but without truly believing.

*giggles* It could. And you sound fun. =D

=D Ooo, a fellow pasta cooker! I love making pasta stuff (though my family hates it, once in a while for them, bleh). Do you make fettuccine alfredo from scratch or package stuff? I've been wanting to learn how to make it from scratch, so just curious.
=3 I make a stir fry type pasta thing that I call 'Fried Spaghetti'. Take regular pasta, cook it normally, toast some veggies in a pan, toss in pasta with olive oil, pray the veggies don't burn while you toast the pasta (pushing the veggies to the edge of the frying pan helps), garnish, serve and eat! xD Perfect for any time of the day (I've made it with leftovers for lunch for my gf once and she now refers to it as 'Breakfast Pasta' since she had just woken up).

I keep hearing about them, but I haven't heard them. Any song recs?

My favorite way of doing the noodles is with a sauce that's peanut butter, hoisin, sweet chili sauce, coconut milk, and lime juice.
As for SNSD, Genie and Run Devil Run are my personal favorites, and I'm pretty much in love with a lot of their original Japanese songs, prolly because I'm still a J-pop girl at heart (and you know, I can actually do a decent job of learning Japanese lyrics).
