I'm interested to hear more about adventures learning Korean. I'm currently studying Mandarin after years of Japanese, but I had to thwap myself over the head with a reminder that, yes, I really do need Chinese much more than Korean for premodern Japanese history, because Korean looked much more fun. I still entertain delusions that someday I'll have time to study Korean. Someday.
