Respond to this post with "hit me" and I assign you a letter. You have to find 5 songs that start with that letter, no matter how sadistic that letter is. That's right people. Then post this in your journal.
Precious Things -- Shiina Hekiru
Of course I have to have something by Shiina Hekiru. Not my top favorite, but still nice, and the source of what would have been my senior year book quote. "I believe that effort can set any miracle in motion"
Perfect Crime -- Kuraki Mai
I remember getting the album, and first listening to it on a summer night, blown away by the intensity. It was also one of my staples for the old time sing-a-longs my friends and I used to have. Not bad for a pop song.
Passion -- Utada Hikaru
I'm playing KHII right now, and I just happen to have it translated somewhere.
Prayer of the Soft Arms -- Cocco
>.> I'm bending the rules a bit here, and using the translated name of the song. It's a beautiful, tender, honest, and realistic love song, and I adore it for that.
The Prayer -- Charlotte Church & Josh Groban
I have to break up the J-poppy goodness and give a shout out to a couple of people who sing beautiful classical music. It doesn't hurt that this is a prettiness song.
