dagas_isa1. Muusu. Muusu. Muusu. There I said it. I think we work well together because we're friends as well as more. Yeah, we are both stressed right now, but I only have 15 hours this semester.
2. Speaking of next semester, I'm taking a creative writing course. It's something that I want to do to maybe hone my writing skills a little.
3. When the weather is nice here it's nice. The trees are in bloom and they're beautiful. It's funny to see all the color on campus. This like pinkish purple and white flowers on the tree, against a rusty brick building, and the gutters are this teal color which interrupts the brick and the roof, and of course all of that against the sky, and I hope everyone knows what color it is.
4. I'm enjoying Chaucer, even with the prospect of the term paper looming. On one hand, it's shorter than the ones I've done for classes, but on the other, it's much more focused and relies not on regurgitating what's been done, but actually coming up with a thesis on my own.
5. As for FFXI, I'm now a WHM 27, so I have raise, and the MP to use it when I sub it to DRG and wear my RSE hands and feet. My WAR sub is fully levelled till 75, and my DRG is 64. Linkshell wise, Fuzzy Pickles is still a lot of fun, but last night Muu was taking his BRD through the dunes, and apparently the PL was starting a fledgling HNM LS. So Cie and I are now members of this baby HNM linkshell, which promises to be what I want as far as endgame goes. Some place to give and get help for certain things, but that doesn't require that I sell my soul or my life. I don't ever expect to be uberleet, but that doesn't mean there aren't things I don't want to do.
Titan Prime was fun dammit! Even with all the wipes. And the Peerifools (not really high level, but 6 NM mandies +links) were awesome.
6. Oblivion is nice. Like fun. Done the Theives Guild quests, the Fighter's Guild quests, and the Mage's Guild quest. So now I'm working on the Dark Brother quest line. The highlight so far, killing the stupid sumbitch Valen Dreth who taunts you in prison. Also the NPCs are on crack, all of them. "Do you happen to know what the fine for necrophilia is in Cyrodiil?" I cite that as proof. That and the Orc who runs a stable, but can't stop eating the horses.
7. I get to have a date with my motorcycle momma on Saturday! Whee! I don't think I need to elaborate on why that rocks.
