Excel, Phonage, and FFXI Piccies

dagas_isaFirst of all, Happy Birthday to my roomie Maria if she even reads this journal. *waves* Hiya! I didn't mean to be so rude to your grandparents I swear.
Second, Megumi and I really do need to work on our communication skillz. So we plan on meeting up to take advantage of Rentertainment's $1.00 anime day, and we managed to get a time (asap from when we talked) and a place (our corner).
Now, on my behalf, I'd like to say that Megumi's elevators usually take a long time, so Dagas decided to do a few things before going because she thought she could beat Megumi to the corner or something. So she walks out from her most used exit, the one in the parking lot and goes the the corner, only to not see Megumi. Figuring that Megumi may have been late, she goes across the street to Megumi's place and waits.
At this point, we shall shift to Megumi, who left just on time like a good Megs and had nice elevators and stuff. And so got to the corner before I got my lazy butt to somewhere where I could see her. And because she remembered what door I usually came out of last year (the side door) she waited there.
Both of us. Waiting. For 20 minutes. Oops.
But yeah, we finally got our acts together and walked down to Rentertainment, where we faced an even more difficult dilemma. How we were to decide what to watch. Yeah... and this was made tough by the fact that our lovely Rentertainment as a good selection of anime on DVD. So yes, we did Excel Saga which is one of the most crack induced animes ever. It does have Menchi though. Menchi is the best emergency food supply dog to ever show up in a quack experimental anime. Ever.
Well, I spent way too much time on the phone today. Mom first, then Beth for a small bit, then Arccy, and then Beth for a longer bit.
Arccy... omigosh the southern accent of doom! ^_^ Actually she has a very cute voice, although our phone convo kept getting cut off. Stupid phone. But I love her, and she's probably someone I can be honest with. *waves* Bethykins~! *huggles* I had such a good time talking to you. *waves* And you are so wonderful in your own way, which is better than just being generically wonderful.
Megumi, when it comes to writing Aros, I feel your pain. I believe that is all I have to say about the issue.
Note that Dagas is indeed the Mithra (FFXI-ish for catgirl), and Starry is the Tarutaru (FFXI-ish for adorabibble midget).
