Work and Final Fantasy VII
Jun. 16th, 2004 05:58 pmI'm giving up on interesting subject lines. I figure I just need to know what the heck I'm talking about for easy referencing in archives. If this means that you are somehow less entertained, deal.
So, work is work. Pulling weeds, although the wheelbarrow is functional now. Which means that there isn't any sort of excuse for the big piles of greenness along the driveway. Four hours does seem like a long time with nothing to do but pull green thing, put in wheelbarrow, pull green thing... and so on, until one rolls the wheelbarrow to the fire pit area. Oh yeah and the mosquitos, but I finally have bug spray and deet is the miracle chemical. Yes, I have a hard time breathing when I spray it on, but it closes my little Dagas buffet, and that's always a good thing. No skeeters are gonna get me, no sirree.
Let's see... what else. Mom is bugging me about my lack of social life. Okay, so she's just asked when Megumi and I are going to be getting together, and honestly, because she's so busy and I'm relearning to enjoy solitude, it's not something I see happening in the near future. We talk about once a week, and personally, I like having better conversations less often than me angsting over never getting calls every day. Quality over quantity. Goes for both guardians and social life.
Hmm... been trying to clean room. Never actually get around to it. You know, so much better things to procrastinate to. Oh well, it's not as bad as it used to be, and I did actually do laundry, so that's good news.
In Final Fantasy VII news, I realize that I never did my normal character analysis for them, and right now I think I'll procrastinate on that further because I don't really feel like wasting my online time analysing Tifa's polygons, Cid's absolute coolness, Vincents cape, Cloud's blocky ass, and all the other random observations. I will say that Final Fantasy VII may not be the most descriptive title for it.
How about "The Young and the Mako Poisoned"? Or "As the Meteor Turns"?
*takes deep breath*
What's getting me through the angst is the fact that the angst is happening to a bunch of demented little chibis. Because that makes everything cute. So polygony. And I loved having Cid running around on the world map. He looks so flustered. *tee hee*
Maybe I'll come up with something deeper to say, but that's later.
Over and out.
