So, I have a lot to say, and not a lot of time to really say it in, especially because I'm trying to catch up with all you strange strange people have been writing. Yeah, I know that I don't comment or reply to comments as much as I should, but I still think about you, and luff you, and generally adore you, especially for putting up with me in my good times, my bad times, and my long periods of semi-explained absences.
Starry! I miss you! *ahem*
Anyway, I started work this week. Not in the woods, which is probably a good thing, although that's coming later in the summer. Right now, I'm just weeding along the driveway. Nothing much for work rants except to say that weather is one of those things that needs to become obsolete. NOW. That's my order for the new millenium, so let's get working on it. Chop chop. Anyway, Between sunburns and mosquito bites, and smushing the mosquitos so I get to see my warm blood explode from their bodies, I'm not going to be surprised if I get an aversion to the color green. I left early today, between the rain and the mosquitos I felt like I was entitiled to. Especially because I don't work formal hours. Therefore, if I don't charge, it's completely and totally ethical.
Outside of this... life thingie that's keeping me from the library...
Finished the next chapter of Starless. Haven't written anything else, but at least I have that one still going. And actually going places too. Yay!
Friday, went to the Chop around the Clock thing. Got some of my work in FF7 lost because of this, and no dinner except for junk food and stuffs. Not that that counts. Didn't even get a haircut, and I was good and restrained and did not ask why I was going along. I knew why. Just the reason never happened. Oh, and happy graduation to the class of 2004.
Last Wednesday, I went to the mall. Tried to find a new copy of FFVIII, and failed, although I did manage to put in a request for it at Sam Goody. And I did find lovely, lovely strategy guides. So I'm working my way through FF7, and I'm in the second disk now. Hmm... personally, I'm much a fan of Cid and Vincent. Those guys just seriously rock. Although while it is a decent game although there are some parts that make me want to choke it with a random headphone cord, I really don't get everyone's big huge BEST GAME EVAR type deal. It's good, but not something that captures my imagination.
Skipping ahead to this Tuesday, I went to a Cougar's game with my Dad and the Valetes, although I left early with Carrie and Jessie. The boys were enjoying themselves, although there really wasn't anything there to interest someone who wasn't quite a kid and not at all into sports. Not even Ozzie. Although I did manage to alert my dad to my keychain obsession, so now I have yet another one added to my Great Clanging Keychain. A Geode, cause my dad's all Geology-like like that.
Hmm... other than that. Haven't done much of anything, watched movies, read books, watched TV, and generally lived life without this funny interweb thingie.
Belated Happy Birthday to Akai. Sorry I don't have anything of value to give you. Just suffice it to say that I think you're wonderful, and therefore you should have a happy birthday and happy unbirthdays too.
*huggles*
And now for some Memes.
