dagas_isaI shall remain optimistic... I shall remain optimistic...See? Mood = optimistic. So yes, I am optimistic Dagas. Optimistic.
Mom called last night. I mean actually dialed up my dorm number and began talking to me. See, this is as about as rare as me calling her. Of course she happens to call when I'm out on my Tuesday night walks. So I call her back and she tells me that Robert, or someone having to do something with Robert found or DVD of 'About a Boy'. Which means that I will be watching that over spring break. It's kind of one of the mom and I things. Also, there's something about getting to have lunch with Carrie Valete who counts as my Second Mom #2 (or #3, depending on whether the mother of That Annoying Neighbor Boy counted). Something about Carrie's daughter rather having lunch with my mom, than her. So mom said that she and Carrie were talking about how I would rather have lunch with Carrie than with mom. I guess that's true. Carrie and I have a lot more in common. She's pretty introverted as well, and while my mom does have a tendency towards depression, Mom is much more of a people person. Still no real news. Fortunately this will me no bombshells over break. Please let there be no bombshells.
Otherwise...
Well, I got my grade statements. Except for Psych, which is still a missing grade, I'm getting A's in all of my classes. That's good.
Umm... this is about an hour and a half later. I just got back from a psych meeting. Kinda got chewed out for needing to be more proactive. Not gonna rant about it, except to say that in general, there are a lot of conflicts going on at the club, hopefully none that my mentee is mixed up in, but just some weird ones. One that produce squicky mental images. And others that are just disturbing.
I'm looking to spend my money on weird things, and I guess that it's a good thing that I've yet to find them around here. This is why I'm not ready for a credit card. I would probably spend too much time and money buying things online. Which is bad.
What else is there to say?
