Friday morning randomness.
Feb. 25th, 2011 11:54 amBefore I go back to diving in to work: (I am, for lack of better description, a file monkey), some creative and fandomish thoughts. "Need", by the way is a relative term.
I need to make and upload more icons. I have a Top Chef one with Padma, Elmo, and Cookie Monster done, but I'd like to have some K-pop ones, particularly with BoA (alien goddess socialite and dancing queen) and 2NE1 (superhero team)on hand. Possibly Kahi (sci-fi warrior in love with her clone) as well (that song is catchy, and her dancing is gorgeous).
P.S. I've totally gotten in my head that the vast majority of pop-stars are actually some kind of sci-fi/fantasy/comic book creature in disguise. It totally makes watching MVs much more fun.
Totally need to do the EX-Mode fic. I have a rough idea of the story and the take, but I need to actually get my hands in there and see if what I have in mind will work.
I finished my Aki/Nao 50 sentence collection. Set Epsilon was finished yesterday. So that's one fandom project down. Speaking of Aki/Nao I also recieved a PM from someone about FF.net claiming that the age difference between the pair was kind of gross (first she was telling me that the age difference was incorrect, which yes, but like by one year that I can't actually wrap my head around. 22 year old Akiyama meets Nao five years later...how is he 26?). Don't know if I'm going to respond to that or not.

fic_promptly prompts last week, but I'm not sure whether to promote them because at least one of those drabbles is just a generic smuch of two stories (one of them finished, but not posted) that were much more interesting and better done. Once I figure out what I'm going to do with that, I'll post links.
yuri_challenge is going on. I'm not sure what I'm going to prompt, but it totally looks like fun. I might try for at least one Ashe/Penelo queen/lady-in-waiting type of prompt. And maybe one Vanille/Serah because that pairing needs to exist. I OTP Fang/Vanille, and have no issues with adding Lightning in for OT3, but long-term Fang/Lightning needs Serah/Vanille in my mind, and you don't want to hear the plot bunny I have with that because it's like a teen rom-com, only with lesbians.
