My stuff and stuff
May. 15th, 2005 01:29 pmFirst, much <3 to Muu. I swear I have no clue how I'm gonna survive this summer, but I'm sure I'll make it. I'm even waking up around the time that we talk and not going to bed until late. I must have gotten used to staying up all night talking to you. Love you so much.
( Megumi made me do it )
So, Muu called, and we talked for a long, long time. Maybe about 2 hours, and we had no clue about the time that was passing. Long enough that my mom got home before I finally got off the phone. Which made her ask who I was talking to.
"A friend" you know in that smug voice that has a lot of hidden context to it.
"A boooy?"
"Maaaybe."
The only saving grace for me is that I'm pretty damned good at evading questions when I want to. Although she does know that I met him online, and that it happened because of the hard-drive failure although we knew each other before then (since September if we want to get all technical), and that he's from Florida and doesn't go to U of I (which is how she figured out the online thing). I'm sure she'll figure things out eventually, but why not have a bit of fun first. ^.^ Although I'm laughing to think of what my dad's reaction to Muu is going to be. He's umm... a bit conventional to say the least.
If there's other news than loving Muu, I guess it's that I'm back in B-town, safe and sound, with a library card. I watched Hitchhikers last Thursday (I could never get the hang of Thursdays) and except for the Arthur/Trillian and the fact that Zaphod is a heck of a lot more likeable in the books, it was a pretty good story. I guess, I could see where they changed the book to make it more accessible for people who'd never read the books. Because honestly, no movie could be as random as the books.
Over and out.
