Oct. 26th, 2003 01:28 amMass loving tonight! Love to all. In a non-kinky way of course. ^_~
Parents were here again today. And they brought munchies. Like good, from home munchies. Sour Altoids (tangerine, not lemon, but I can live with that), honey roasted almonds, those cookies and cream chocolates that Hershey's makes, and most importantly Ritz crackers and that honey roasted nut peanut butter. *drools*
We started our day around 10:45 this morning, and I was again reminded of why my family is notorious for teasing each other. Hey, when my mom says she's high-maintenence, there is a correct answer, and it sure as heck isn't no. ^_^ But we went down to the IUB, looking for sweatshirts, and mom wanted a specific hoodie, and here's the thing, it had to look good on her. Not good, but flattering. Illini souveniers? Flattering? Yeah, there's a mission impossible there. But it was successful. And BTW, Dagas has a jacket thingie to wear other than that ratty flannel.
Afterwards we went to the game. Met up with the Valetes and the Foorts, the latter family being one that I haven't seen since we all lived in Golden Oaks. One of them was actually the orchestra teacher at my old high school a long time ago, so she even know people like Heath, and Wheeler, and The Good Doctor. Supposedly, a lot of the people in my parents circle of friends were members of the same fraternity. Actually, we only stayed for the second quarter and the half time show. It was cold rain, and every one knows that the Illini football team is a bunch of losers. Then we went to my Dad's old fraternity house, where we just talked more to these people.
Me-chan, I owe you so much. That summary was amazing. I'm sorry that I'm not going to get the commentary done tonight, but it needs to happen. And name your price, a short story, any genre, any characters just name them. I will give it to you.
Over and out.
