What the heck happened?

Okay. Went to go-gaia, got screen name, got avatar, checked out personal ads for some sick, twisted reason. And viola! Guy, 19 years old, goes to U of I. Seems interested in plenty of the same stuff that I'm into. Is interesting in linguistics, is taking Japanese 101. Isn't quite formally religious, but we kinda have the same idea on a lot of things. And yeah, it's scary.

This is just strange, and yet I'm grinning. I wonder why.
