A friend of my mother's came into town a couple nights ago. It's kinda strange because I remember her from when I was a child (she still drives that old Volvo). Anyway, she's artistic, makes homemade pickles (none came up this time), works with beads (I got to make a bracelet), paints faces (stop looking at me like that), and she say that the only thing she misses about cable is the fact that she doesn't get HGTV.
And I think I have Dad watching 'Dead Like Me'. Asked me if I wanted to watch it. He said that he heard that it was pretty good, and of course I told him that I'd already watched it. Too bad I'm baby-sitting tonight else I'd watch the first two episodes with him.
Yes, I am on a Tamora Pierce kick. Just wanted to warn everybody. That how I'm filling out those summer reading things, one quartet at a time.
Oh, and a confession: I have a trick for getting on the computers here without actually letting them know that I've been on twice in one day. I just walk out of sight when I get kicked off, and then I curl up in a chair with a book. Usually by the time I've finished, the shift has changed and the people think that this is my first time there. *rolls eyes* Yes, I know I am so evil.
Over and out.
