So this is my short-term "plan," if you will. Barring the miraculous event of scoring a part-time or full-time job at a museum, zoo, aquarium, or other cultural non-profit in Seattle, I'm going to look for internships and volunteer opportunities, and then if necessary, get a part-time job somewhere to make sure that we can afford such luxuries as food, shelter, internet, and cat-litter.

In more concrete terms, this means making sure that my resume is up-to-date, and actually going out and applying for available internships and doing the necessary footwork. June being most important for this because of my U-PASS (oh how I'm going to miss it come July).

In non-job related issues, I'm trying to get everything else back in balance again, including raising my activity level and tolerance for stimulation. I'd say my major goals would be:

1) Getting back in the habit of doing physical activity on a regular basis. Dancing around the living room/hiking at the park both totally count (especially because the park has hillclimbs).
2) Getting this apartment into a state of order.
3) Skill-development. I'm not sure what yet, but I want to develop competence at something new.
4) Find new places and explore.

We're going to the Fremont Solstice Parade on Saturday, and then I'll probably go to Pride by myself on the 27th (I bet [livejournal.com profile] muusu would like to come, but he's already taken Graduation and Solstice off). Even if I can't do the after parties and stuff, the Parades will be fun. And lo! Naked bicyclists at Solstice.
