Friends and FFXI

dagas_isaTwo things sort of on the same theme. I've gotten back into Gaia, which means that I've been in contact with Inu, a friend of mine from high school. It turns out that she plays FFXI, on Fenrir. So she has Tano and Niban with her too. She also claims that through some magical mystical thing that she could transfer me and other people from Ifrit to Fenrir, which I sort of doubt, but meh. Let's give her that for the sort of hypothetical situation. So I ask myself would I?
I probably would at this particular time. If I could take Muu, Filly, and Semi with me along with any mules we could bring, I would go, because I'm not so fond of Ifrit anymore. Without friends or a linkshell the game is really boring. Muu would follow me, and I've talked with Semi who would probably go and Filly who would go with Semi. There are other people I would miss, and I'd definitely miss having my Starutaru and my Shish-kabob and maybe even Prettz around. But I'd guess that they wouldn't change servers and I can keep touch with them through other means.
Server changes are impossible, although I might see if I could ressurect my little Valkyrie and get another WP for Fenrir so I could find them again. Oh yeah and drop in on Nae Nae, if her great Creamy Paladin goodness would speak with me.
The other thing that happened was that I ran into an old acquaintence. The guy is the actual owner of IC although he's never on anymore because he's into HNM linkshells. I used to swear that I'd never get into one, that I would be a lazy high level who spent my days fishing on the ferry and fighting the Sea Horror. Now though, I can't wait to hit level 70. Not for the goods or the riches or whatever, but to be part of a group, now that I've got two people saying that they'd let me into their shell. So I can be around friends in FFXI.
So that's pretty much it. Now back to doing other stuff and maybe writing. Not to mention reading >.>.
