dagas_isaUmm yeah... I'm joining or attemption to join. Criticisms are welcome and I can make adjustments as needed.
Name: Brynn Montgomery
Age: 24
Position on Ship: Passenger
Appearance: A woman of medium height and build, Brynn is inconspicuous in a crowd on her native world, a Core planet. Her shoulder length auburn hair is tied up in a tight bun which emphasizes her sharp features. The brass glasses framing dark blue eyes and lips pursed together in a permanent frown complete her severe look. Her normal attire consists of a knee-length olive-green skirt, a white formal shirt covered by a gray blazer. A little red tie and sensible black shoes complete the outfit. Foolishly, the carries no weapons on her even on the Border planets.
Personality: Brynn looks stiff and proper on the outside but on the inside umm... her personailty is as starched as her outer appearance. Civilization is the greatest virtue that mankind can achieve, she believes and her behavior reflects that. Openly critical of people who do not meet her standards, Brynn is closed mouthed about any of her other feelings. She is smart enough to know when something she might say will put her into a disadvantageous position and she (barely) has enough tact to keep her mouth shut then, but otherwise anyone else is fair game. Her other emotions, Brynn prefers to keep bottled up, which can sometimes lead to rare but intense outbursts at otherwise quiet moments. Surprisingly, there is an idealistic streak in her nature that could be called romantic, but right now it's focused on bringing the ideals of the Alliance to the youth on Border worlds
Skills/weaknesses: Brynn is certified as a teacher, and has the skills generally associated with that profession, meaning she is well-educated and knows how to gather information efficiently. Her written and spoken communication is clear and effective if not entrancing, and she has a knack for managing money as well as a rudimentary knowledge of first aid.
Her weaknesses...well, they extend to anything that might actually be pratical on the Border worlds. While she acknowledges the need for people outside of civilization to defend themselves, she doesn't have any applicable skills, preferring to use avoidance as a form of self-defense. Also, not only does she have no aptitude with machines, she would much rather make conversation with a monkey than become a grease monkey. In addition, she is somewhat out of her league when dealing with life outside of the Core planets.
History: Born and raised by her working class family, Brynn chose education as a way of becoming richer than her parents. With the help of her parents, some part time jobs in respectable places, and an Alliance scholarship for new teachers, she's completed her education and now is going off to her first real job, a teaching assignment on a Border moon. She would have rather'd stay on her home world or some other civilized place, but this was one of the only jobs available.
At the first pit stop of her ship, someone stole the majority of Brynn's valuable posessions, leaving her with only a few posessions and a small amount of savings in the bank, and fortunately any needed ID, which she had on her person. Right now, she has a little money but not enough to get her passage on a respectable ship and get her settled when she reaches her destination, but she's heard that smaller transport ships like the Lunar Fox are willing to take people on for much cheaper. Overall though, she's not feeling particularly lucky or eager to be on a fugitive ship, but she knows what she has to do.
There was something else I wanted to say, but I'm not quite sure what it was.
