All about Cats (and a few other things)
Sep. 10th, 2006 11:17 pmStuff + Cats = Awesome.
For the cat who never could stand me, Skript has been incredbly affectionate lately. Almost...attention-whorish in her need for affection. And except for when she meows outside the door at night, neither
muusu or I seem to mind it. Maybe she realizes that her loyal slaves love her more when she doesn't have to be mean.
In other news, we went out for dinner and Borders tonight, which is where I found the Stuff on my Cat book, which led me to the site. I also happened to pick up Kurt Vonnegut's new book. Because while I'm a mixed bag about his novels (I liked Slaughterhouse Five, not so fond of Player Piano, though that might be because I was running a 100+ degree fever when I read it for school), what really fascinated me when doing the term papers were his essay collections. I almost got Marley & Me because I'm an absolute sucker for that kind of sap.
I don't think I'll go on about KH2, except to say that the battle system and certain boss fights in the second half of the game started to annoy me, and the story seemed thinner until I got to the last world, and then things happened that made up for some of the narrative thread lost in the rest of the game. I can't really fangirl it or mock it, simply play it.
Muu and I signed into FFXI for the first time a few months, and spent the time levelling our NPCs. I don't know whether it's good or bad that we both have endgame level characters with veteran level crafts, and yet neither of us care to put more time into the game because there's much better things to be doing out here.
I don't know what else to say, except that I am craving love and solitude at the same time.
Over and out.
