As a general note, I suppose what I said in my last rant was a bit on the stupid side, according to many people. I want to thank everyone who gave constructive responses, even if I'm mule-headed enough to think I had a point.

Disclaimer: This is not a discussion. If the FFX/X-2 fandom finds this interesting, I welcome constructive opinions and even disagreement, but there's never going to be any sort of agreed upon conclusion. This is all just long, unplanned rants that cover general fanfic and then go into more specific parts of the FFX world. And in the end, it's all for my own use. kthx.

Phew. There ya go. Dug out of the collective wastebin.

That gets linked by one of the central Final Fantasy fandom Lj-communities. A couple people disagreed with me, but made some good points and made constructive criticism, though I'm sure they all thought I was a fantard from my replies. Ah well. Stranger's opinions, who needs them.

The one that gets me, in a funny ha-ha way is the person who tells me not to write for the FFX/X-2 fandom because of what I write in that one post. And then goes to file my journal under emo-trainwreck and or crap fic, my choice. (chose crapfic, because honestly, this account will always have the honor of being my emo-trainwreck). Without actually... and get this, looking at any of the other entries, or reading any of my fics. Just based on one rant, on something that's really going to be a very minor point on a story that I might want to write, but may never get around to.

Oh yes, and it's also impossible to get 100% completion in one game for FFX-2, regardless of the countless people who have done it, and the many guides that explain how to do it. I didn't know this. /sarcasm

Overall, while it's annoying to have someone read a journal entry, leave what's essentially a flame, though albeit without swearing, and judge without bothering to learn anything else, I did get amusement out of the whole thing, plus I left some person feeling superior, which in turn makes me feel superior, since I did, for once, help someone feel better about themselves.

In other news: I'm nocturnal now. I saw Superman Returns with Muusu, and I'll probably be going up to Batavia sometime at the beginning of August.

Over and out.
