First Post + 100 Fandom reasoning

Finally! I got up the motive to get a fanfic journal. Under my most used pen name of course. I'll probably be posting lots of fics here. Plus all that fun stuff.

Anyway, I'm close to finishing my first chaptered fic, Those Who Come Closest which is an FFX fic that examines the Fayth as they become Fayth. So I was looking for a new story and Kimahri came to mind. I originally planned a small 5 or 6 part Series about Kimahri climbing up Mount Gagazet between FFX and FFX-2 when he becomes the leader of the Ronso and reflecting on his adventures.

Then I saw the Fandom 100 Challenge, and Kimahri seemed a natural candidate. It's much more adventurous, but well, I guess I'll just have to try hard.

So why Kimahri?

I am not a furry. I mean that. Okay, yes, I play a Mithra Dragoon on FFXI, which I guess is close to Kimahri, but really I just like Kimahri as a character, and not because I find him a 'bishie' or whatever. Kimahri is one of the most underused characters in the FFX fandom, and I think it's about time that someone gives him the credit that such a cool character deserves.

So here's to FFX's Pride of the North Pole!
