*singsong* I'm back.
Dec. 20th, 2003 10:48 pmYes, I'm in the hometown now, so obviously, I will not be spending my entire life online like I do at college.
No, this will not make me shut up or disappear. Sorry to disappoint all those who would want me to.
Actually, I'm babysitting right now, and the kids are actually in bed for once. It was a half-hour later than they were supposed to, but they were all pretty agreeable about it.
They forced me to play Kingdom Hearts darn it. -_-;; How am I supposed to be the Rosalyn type baby-sitter of Calvin's worst nightmares if I'm busy playing a video game. Grr....
Well, I finished Deep Jungle around 10:15, which is where Ben and I agreed to stop. So I sent him upstairs to find Jake and Jessie, who were of course in the middle of watching Kenshin. Not one to interfere with the brainwashing of American children into becoming Anime freaks, I allowed them to watch the show.
But they are asleep, which is a good thing. It means that I can be online guilt-free. Although they only have a modem grr... Guess that leechers can't be choosers.
So I'm home, with all the connotations that home has for me. The barn, the dog, the room without central heat, the decent showers, and the PS2. Also getting in the middle of my parents play arguments. Cause we know that my house can never be filled with pure sweetness and fluff.
Nothing is really getting to me now, except for the fact that my parents, the parents of the kids that I'm baby-sitting for, and another couple they hang out with are all out to dinner at a new restaurant that Jim (the dad) is checking out to see if it's worth the bank's money to invest in it. Which means free food... grr... And Dagas hasn't even had dinner yet.
Hmm... to raid or not to raid... is there a question?
Over and out.
