Prom night? Nyah.

Last night was prom night. Not that I was actually there or anything. But last night was prom night.

I spent it in the manner of a usual Saturday night, which is to say I sat down, watched TV and privately mused over my little obsession. In Nomine not being among them, strangely enough. I'd been to Prom sophomore year, and really, if I've been a wallflower at one dance, I've been a wallflower at them all. Of course I had a boyfriend then . . . . so it doesn't really count. But anyways, I've had a comparable experience, so it didn't really mean that much to me to stay home from the senior prom.

However, there were some people who hadn't been to prom before. And they had been looking forward to their own Senior Prom (to use the delightful capitalization of the person in question). Only things didn't quite work out right. At all, period. And to those people, I give a cookie and my undying moral support. (Hey, I'm going to senior skip day).
