That RP I keep talking about.

Konya no RP
LacanPanother: What's this one mean?
HikaruYui: Tonight's RP
DagasIsa: *nods*
HikaruYui: I was feeling uninspired
LacanPanother: Oh, and by the way, Dagas... About before with the tongue jokes... I'm very sorry if the cutting one and/or others might've made you uncomfortable.
DagasIsa: Not to worry.
DagasIsa: It's fine.
LacanPanother: Glad to hear that. So, I assume Megumi's told you about what we'd like to try? ~_^
DagasIsa: Luc, Aros, Persei.
LacanPanother: Yep.
DagasIsa: I have another character to step in if things get out of hand.
LacanPanother: Is that fair?
LacanPanother: Someone playing two characters?
DagasIsa: She's only coming in if something gets out of hand.
DagasIsa: Last time Aros nearly stole Persei's heart.
LacanPanother: I'll comment then if necessary. *Shrug.*
LacanPanother: Hmm, I think I and Aros'll start this one with you wandering nearby, kay', please?
LacanPanother: Instead of me being the wanderer?
LacanPanother: That okay with you, Megumi?
HikaruYui: Usually we all just get thrown in together, but that's okay
LacanPanother: Well, she can be wandering nearby, ready to talk whenever.
LacanPanother: Hmm, maybe if I'm planning this one's beginning I should've done the Invite. *Shrug.* Ah, well.
LacanPanother: Begin now?
HikaruYui: sure. go for it
LacanPanother: Luc: *Taps the brown-haired man on the shoulder.* You seem to be standing around here, mind answering something for me?
HikaruYui: Aros is blond ^_^
LacanPanother: Oh, 'blonde-haired man', then. Oops.
HikaruYui: Aros: *turns around, annoyed* What?
LacanPanother: Luc: I'm wondering where I could find a telepath who supposedly lives around here? Do you know anything or would I be wasting my time?
HikaruYui: Aros: *eyes widen a bit, but quickly turn back to annoyed* I really could care less who lives around here.
DagasIsa: Persei: Just a random telepath? That's pretty random you know. I mean it's not like we exist everywhere.
LacanPanother: Luc: Fine. Then I guess I'll care less about you. Good day, Sir.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Blinks.* And who might you be?
LacanPanother: Luc: Are you the one I seek?
DagasIsa: Persei: I don't know exactly what you're seeking, but most people go out of their way to avoid me. Something about talking too much...
LacanPanother: Luc: A friend of mine, with red hair and a silver coat, recommended you do business in Caleria.
LacanPanother: Luc: I was wondering if I might hire you to probe some peoples' minds, find out how to unlock a certain 'block' trapping something of great value to me.
DagasIsa: Persei: I don't think I've heard of either that place or that person, and I'm not all that interested in business, but I suppose that if you explain it, I might consider.
LacanPanother: Luc: I just did. Do me a favor and please don't waste my time like the rude knave I just spoke with.
HikaruYui: Aros: *pointedly ignores then*
HikaruYui: *tem
HikaruYui: *them
DagasIsa: Persei: I'm sorry, my telepathy is something of an extension of an internal sound system. It's mostly used for communication, either in person or extending communication devices.
LacanPanother: Luc: Wonderful.
DagasIsa: Mind probing I've never really done, it's something with the ethics.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Glowers at the brown-haired person who seems to be going out of his way to be rude.*
LacanPanother: Luc: Well, how good are you?
HikaruYui: Aros is blond, remember?
LacanPanother: Luc: Your services would be much appreciated.
LacanPanother: OOC: Paul no baka.
LacanPanother: Luc: I can't tell you what, really, but... *Lowers his voice and hopes blondie doesn't overhear* ...this could affect the fate of our entire world.
LacanPanother: Luc: I also am a Bishop in the service of Hikusaak, High Priest of the Holy Empire of Harmonia. Your talents could receive handsome recognition.
DagasIsa: Persei: *shrugs* That's sounding a lot like the types of missions that my brothers and I are supposed to go on. I suppose I might be willing to try it out.
LacanPanother: Luc: Wonderful. Now, if you will accompany me... *Glances at blondie.* Why the heck are you still here?
HikaruYui: Aros: *crosses arms across chest* That's not your concern anyway.
LacanPanother: Luc: Are you trying to just annoy me or are you waiting for someone?
HikaruYui: Aros: Does it matter?
LacanPanother: Luc: I don't take kindly to people treating me that way.
LacanPanother: Luc: Especially when I'm conducting important matters.
DagasIsa: Persei: *telepathically to Aros* Just humor him. It's really the only way to deal with people like him.
HikaruYui: Aros: *glares at Persei* You...you are NOT going to do that again!
LacanPanother: Luc: Did you just tell him to do something by telepathy?
LacanPanother: Luc: *Looks at brownie.* Oh, you know this woman?
LacanPanother: *He makes no secret of his amusement at brownie's distress, even almost clearly smirking.*
DagasIsa: Persei: I didn't tell him anything. I just made a suggestion.
DagasIsa: (Persei's a guy. Aros is blonde)
LacanPanother: Luc: He's waiting here... You know him... You're talking to him silently. Forgive me for being suspicious.
LacanPanother: OOC: Okay, I seem to have a particular problem with idiocy tonight.
DagasIsa: (No problem.)
LacanPanother: OOC: About Aros... Persei... I see.
HikaruYui: (Well, you're obviously thinking too much of Sora)
LacanPanother: OOC: I know.
HikaruYui: Aros: He's not talking to me silently! Not anymore!
HikaruYui: Aros: *glares at Persei again*
DagasIsa: Persei: Yeah, we've met before. And he even almost stole my heart too. It was really intense-like .... *rambles*
LacanPanother: Luc: He'd better not be. He does again and both of you are going to be... Oh, you have a crush on her? *Raises an eyebrow.*
HikaruYui: Aros: And I'll do it again if you don't watch it!
DagasIsa: (Persei is a male)
LacanPanother: He doubts it, but blondie deserves...
LacanPanother: Correction: ...on him?
LacanPanother: ...taking that.
HikaruYui: Aros: *bristles* What did you just say?
DagasIsa: Persei: *bursts out into a fit of laughter*
LacanPanother: ...You heard me. And as I was also saying, he'd better not talk to you silently again, unless you both want trouble.
LacanPanother: Luc: I can sense things like that, although couldn't sense Persei's words.
LacanPanother: Luc: Anyway, to elaborate... You and he mentioned 'stealing heart'... I assume you tried to woo him. *His eyes tell blondie how amused he's getting by infuriating him.*
DagasIsa: Persei: Telepathy is a personal thing, and as such it is my right to use it in whatever manner I wish.
LacanPanother: Luc: But I must be off... *Turns to Persei.*
HikaruYui: Aros: *glares at Luc, clenching a fist*
LacanPanother: ...Not about me, you don't. I don't trust that. For all I know you and he are in league with my enemies.
DagasIsa: Persei: Nah, it was more of a literal thing. He's got this nifty key thing that lets him take people's hearts if he can stab them.
LacanPanother: Luc: Now... *Pointedly looks away from blondie while speaking...*... A magic 'Key' you say?
LacanPanother: Luc: Interesting.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Turns to blondie.* Is this true?
HikaruYui: Aros: Yes. Would you like a demonstration?
LacanPanother: 'Perhaps a magic Key can aid me in opening the seal of the True Fire Rune.'
HikaruYui: Aros: *eyes widen* Don't even think about it.
HikaruYui: sorry!
HikaruYui: that was a thought!
HikaruYui: ignore that...
LacanPanother: Luc: Assuming its not on her, fine. I have use of her...
LacanPanother: Luc: *Looks pointedly.* Nor on me either.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Gestures.* But I'll take you somewhere you can demonstrate.
HikaruYui: Aros: *raises eyebrow* Oh really?
LacanPanother: Luc: *Holds his hand out, and the ground beneath him begins to ripple like a turbulent sea, lighted slightly too.*
HikaruYui: (Persei is male*
DagasIsa: Persei: I'm flattered that you think I'm so pretty, but I'm really a guy.
HikaruYui: )
LacanPanother: Luc: Yes, step in this... *Spins on Percy.* I'm used to female telepaths. Do you mind?
LacanPanother: Luc: Of course, I thought you were a woman not because I think you're pretty, but because I imagine you probably have a crush on him. *Points at blondie.*
LacanPanother: Luc: *Looks back at blondie.* Now, if you'd hurry up and step onto the teleporter. Its time to get down to business.
DagasIsa: Persei: No, I'm just talkative to everyone.
HikaruYui: Aros: And where exactly are you planning to take me?
DagasIsa: Persei: *steps into the teleporter*
LacanPanother: Luc: That's my concern.
LacanPanother: Luc: Do you need an explanation?
HikaruYui: Aros: Yeah
DagasIsa: Persei: Explanations are polite, and not to mention useful.
LacanPanother: Luc: Le Buque.
LacanPanother: Luc: And you two are useful enough I shouldn't have to bother. You especially, Persei, have an opportunity. Don't try my patience, lest I decide to have your erstwhile admirer demonstrate on...
LacanPanother: ...You after all.
HikaruYui: Aros: Admirer? If you don't stop that, I may just demonstrate on you.
LacanPanother: Luc: Forgive me for not being concerned. If you'd rather lose your Key and possibly your dignity.
LacanPanother: 'Arrogant twit. I'd love to take him down a peg, but I have use for him.'
DagasIsa: Persei: I think you need to be more respectful of people. I mean not even my guardian is this bad and she has a pretty bad rep.
LacanPanother: Luc: Now, shall we get off?
DagasIsa: Persei: Sure.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Spins to Persei.* Guardian?
HikaruYui: Aros: *scowls* Fine. *sets on teleporter*
DagasIsa: Persei: The woman who raised me, and whom I know work for.
DagasIsa: *now.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Gestures, and the three descend into the teleporter. Miles away, another appears amongst the ruins of a village, where Harmonians are lining up captives to deport them as slaves for Crystal Valley.*
LacanPanother: *Luc gestures at the soldiers.* Take the heart of one of them, if you can.
HikaruYui: Aros: *raises eyebrow* And what's this going to do for me?
LacanPanother: *Gestures to the Harmonian Captain to simply wait, he may have need of an experiment. The Harmonian Captain nods and gestures to his soldiers not to resist.*
LacanPanother: Luc: You're showing me if you're useful.
HikaruYui: Aros: And if I'm "useful"? Then what/
HikaruYui: *?
DagasIsa: brb
LacanPanother: Luc: Then I might want to hire your services.
HikaruYui: Aros: *scowls and calls the Black Keyblade to his hand* Which one?
LacanPanother: Luc: Whichever can steal hearts. 'You've got two. Yes, this may be useful indeed. Perhaps I can even get rid of that disgusting sadist Yuber if this works the way I hope.'
LacanPanother: Er, ' "Whichever... hearts." 'You've... '.
HikaruYui: Aros: *scowls again* I meant which person. *rolls eyes disdainfully*
LacanPanother: One of the soldiers, just not the Captain.
LacanPanother: 'I don't like his attitude. If this works, maybe I'll steal his Key anyway... No, I'm not sinking that low.'
DagasIsa: back.
HikaruYui: (wb ^_^)
LacanPanother: Same here.
LacanPanother: Er... 'OOC: Same here.'.
HikaruYui: Aros: *steps up to a random soldier and, without further ado, plunges the Keyblade into his chest*
DagasIsa: Persei: *watches intently muttering something quietly to himself*
LacanPanother: Luc: *Looks at Persei and the Keyblade at the same time. Some of the Harmonians look startled, but their duty has been drilled in. They are third class citizens, mere fodder.*
LacanPanother: Luc: Now, your guardian... Who is she?
DagasIsa: Persei: *shrugs* She's just some woman who raised me and my brothers and we now do some errands for her. You know protect the universe and all that fancy science fiction stuff.
HikaruYui: Aros: *watches, a smile at the edge of his lips, as the man lets out a cry and his heart comes free of his body*
LacanPanother: Luc: Name please. Is she a teleapth?
LacanPanother: Er... 'Telepath'...
LacanPanother: *Luc notices the smile, and is a bit disturbed. Nevertheless, he's using worse. Such as Yuber. Truth to tell, he'd rather not have to use these Harmonians and their foolish servitude, or take...
DagasIsa: Persei: Her name is Inori. We're not really sure what she is, just that it's not really a good thing to mess with her. She gets mad easily.
LacanPanother: ...advantage of how they think of themselves as expendable. But both Yuber and the Harmonians are too indispensible if he is to prepare the ceremony.*
LacanPanother: Luc: And what about her skills? Is she a telepath?
HikaruYui: *the man is engulfed by darkness, the shining light of his heart disappearing. Aros withdraws the Black Keyblade and sends it away*
DagasIsa: Persei: I told you before, we're not certain what she is. I mean she can communicate with me of course but everyone can. We just know she's strong.
LacanPanother: Luc: All right, you're useful.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* Well, do me a favor and try to figure it out. *To blondie.* How exactly does that work?
HikaruYui: *a shadow appears in place of the man, coming up behind Aros who has turned*
DagasIsa: Persei: *ignores Luc*
LacanPanother: *He gestures to the Harmonians to take the slaves away, and looks away, unable to bear the sight of the remnants of the once proud Safir Clan being taken into slavery, into lives as if they were...
HikaruYui: Aros: How? I... *Aros stops, noticing the shadow. He calmly calls the Keyblade back and destroys it. It will be of no use to him here.*
LacanPanother: ...mere livestock.
LacanPanother: *
HikaruYui: *Aros dismisses the Keyblade again and turns back to Luc* I don't think you need to know how.
LacanPanother: *But he knows, if he can destroy the Balance, Hikusaak's power will fade, and perhaps the people can save themselves from the Harmonian theocracy.*
LacanPanother: Luc: Yes, I do.
LacanPanother: Luc: Now tell me.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* Are you thinking about it?
HikaruYui: Aros: There's nothing to tell. You saw it.
LacanPanother: Luc: How does it do that? How does this 'Key' of yours work? Surely you wouldn't be wielding such powerful artificats if you were too stupid to understand how they function.
DagasIsa: Persei: I'm thinking that it's really not your business what information I choose to keep about my guardian a secret. I owe her too much to betray her secrets to someone that I've only known a few minutes.
HikaruYui: Aros: *crosses arms* I removes the heart from the body. That's all you need to know about it.
DagasIsa: If you really want to know, get in contact with her yourself, but just because I'm agreeing to go along with you does not mean that I've sold my soul to you.
DagasIsa: Persei: At least I don't think it does.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Shrug.* 'Fine, I'll investigate into her guardian myself. And since Persei's not too helpful, maybe I'll convince my dear brother to see she's turned away... No, that'd...
HikaruYui: (he)
LacanPanother: ...Be vicious. I'm getting too stressed out as the moment draws near. I don't need people being difficult right now.'
LacanPanother: OOC: *Grumble.*
LacanPanother: Luc: I know you removed the heart from the body. I'm not that stupid, thank you. And yes, I do need to know. I'm trying to save billions of people...
DagasIsa: Persei: 'You know, it's about time that some people stopped worrying about how important they are and realize the other people have agendas too.'
LacanPanother: ...Although I suppose you'd be more interested in the chaos unleashed.
LacanPanother: Luc: 'I'm worried about others. I intend to sacrifice myself. Don't assume, you don't have the slightest idea what's going on here.' *Makes it a point to try to keep his thoughts masked.
HikaruYui: Aros: You're trying to save people? You want me to save people!?
LacanPanother: *Shrugs.* Or you could cause chaos. In order to attain what I need for the ceremony, extreme death must result.
DagasIsa: (That was a though of Persei's. It might have been spoken aloud, but I doubt it)
LacanPanother: Luc: From your look when you stuck that Key into the soldier, you would enjoy that, no...?
HikaruYui: Aros: Chaos sounds a bit more appealing. But I follow my own agenda.
LacanPanother: OOC: I assumedshe was speaking telepathically to Luc.
HikaruYui: (he ^_^)
LacanPanother: Luc: Which is...? Perhaps we can strike a bargain.
DagasIsa: (Megumi is fond of Persei)
HikaruYui: (Very true!)
LacanPanother: OOC: *Picks up large Shakespeare book and smashes the spine of *that* into head a number of times.*
HikaruYui: (Hey!)
DagasIsa: (Besides Persei is a loud mouth and not very considerate. Some might be audible)
LacanPanother: OOC: Maybe that'll knock some sense into my head.
LacanPanother: OOC: Its my fault, I keep making stupid errors.
DagasIsa: (You're just having an off night)
HikaruYui: Aros: Tell me a bit more about what you had in mind.
LacanPanother: OOC: So? I can still knock sense into my head.
HikaruYui: (Don't)
LacanPanother: Luc: Why don't you tell me what you seek?
DagasIsa: Persei: Who, me or the blonde guy?
LacanPanother: *Luc looks at Delphi.* "Now please wander off and don't listen in."
LacanPanother: Luc: Your blonde admirer, yes.
HikaruYui: (You don't mean Delphi)
LacanPanother: OOC: ARRRRRGGGHH!!!
LacanPanother: *'Persei'.*
LacanPanother: *Bangs head into book spine more times.*
HikaruYui: Aros: *bristles* You call me that one more time, and YOUR heart is next!
DagasIsa: Persei: *wanders off while babbling*
LacanPanother: Luc: Whatever.
LacanPanother: Luc: Now what do you seek?
LacanPanother: *Wishes Sarah was here so he could set up a mental ward, in case Persei tries to listen in.*
LacanPanother: Er, 'she'.
HikaruYui: Aros: Me? *Aros can't surpress a grin* I seek darkness. Complete and total darkness. For everything.
LacanPanother: OOC: Good grief, I'm even messing up with characters I know. :P
DagasIsa: Persei: *yells* Don't bother. It's not like I'm interested!
HikaruYui: (lol!)
DagasIsa: (*grins*)
LacanPanother: OOC: Not ':P', but :-X'. Luc: I can't offer that. But I can introduce you to someone who desires chaos and death.
LacanPanother: Luc: I seek salvation. To avoid silence and a void of life. This bringer of chaos assists me because he is interested in *Luc says this distatefully* the millions of deaths which will be caused in the...
LacanPanother: ...collateral damage when the ritual I seek is achieved. Perhaps a chance at condemning them to that kind of darkness would interest you?
HikaruYui: Aros: Fine. I agree.
LacanPanother: Luc: And to ensure you don't betray me, give me one of the Keys you have as surfeit.
HikaruYui: Aros: *raises an eyebrow* No way.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Calls to Persei.* "I'm through discussing with your infatuatee here, you can return now!!"
LacanPanother: *Luc turns back to Aros.* Yes way. It'd benefit you, wouldn't it?
DagasIsa: Persei: *wanders back in, still babbling*
HikaruYui: Aros: Not enough to give that to you.
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Empty-headed ditz.'
LacanPanother: Luc: We can do it two ways then. One, you agree, and if you're loyal, you get your Blade back.
LacanPanother: The second, I steal them both, and you don't get anything. Which would you rather it be?
LacanPanother: *Crosses his arms.*
HikaruYui: Aros: You can't steal them.
DagasIsa: Persei: *smiles* Did you have a pleasant conversation. Not that I imagine that either of you are that pleasant but you never know. Like and like is probably interesting.
LacanPanother: Luc: Would you care to wager on that? *Turns to Persei.* Of course. Spoke like a true lady. (OOC: That one's on purpose.)
DagasIsa: Persei: *grins* Hey, at least I show some refinement, be it of a feminine sort or not.
LacanPanother: Luc: Which I'm sure the rude knave over there has noticed. 'Don't compare me with him, please.'
LacanPanother: Luc: *Turns back to blondie.* I'm a very busy man. Make your wager and force me to defeat you, or hand over the Key. I grow tired of this.
DagasIsa: Persei: *drawls* Naaa, it's not that you're at all alike. It is merely that you both seem to have a similar aura of charisma about them, albeit one that serves as a like pole....
LacanPanother: Luc: You mean like yours? That's probably the reason he *pointing to blondie* over there is the only one stupid enough to develop any interest in you.
HikaruYui: Aros: *menacingly* You aren't getting anything from me.
DagasIsa: Persei: *smiles* Well, I suppose that can be said of me. Although I must say that I have had a few ladies quite a bit more attractive than Aros flirt with me. But I'm surprised that my romantic life means anything.
LacanPanother: Luc: How about this then. Pledge your allegiance to me on your hands and knees to me.
LacanPanother: *Isn't in the mood for a fight, really. Not after seeing the poor prisoners carted away.*
HikaruYui: Aros: *crosses arms* I refuse to that. I'll give you my word, but you won't degrade me.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* 'Aros'? So that's his name?
LacanPanother: *Luc wonders if Aros noticed Persei called him a female.*
LacanPanother: Luc: Then you proved yourself. Had you kneeled, I would've known you'd lied.
LacanPanother: Luc: But if you do betray me, you won't go far.
HikaruYui: Aros: *raises an eyebrow* All right.
LacanPanother: *To Persei.* What do you mean, you're surprised your romantic life means anything?
DagasIsa: Persei: Well is it true that the butt of most of your insults towards me have either dealt with my gender or my romantic propositions.
DagasIsa: I did not know that those were my most enduring and memorable traits.
LacanPanother: Luc: And now that you've agreed, tell me how your Key operates.
HikaruYui: Aros: It unlocks the heart so that it is freed from the body and devoured by the darkness.
HikaruYui: Aros: Enough for you?
LacanPanother: Luc: I want to know how.
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Devoured by darkness... I thought it was something like that, from what happened and what he later said his goals were.*
LacanPanother: Er, ' were.'.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei:* No, I simply don't like you.
DagasIsa: Persei: *grins* The feelings pretty mutual.
LacanPanother: Luc: Just like I really don't like him either.
LacanPanother: Luc: Well, we'll just have to get used to it. *Whispers.* Do me a favor and listen to Aros' thoughts, tell me what he says about how his Key operates. I doubt he'll tell me.
DagasIsa: Persei: *starts talking telepathically to Aros* You know he's kinda annoying you know. I'm not going to look in your mind because that's just rude and really pretty scary.
HikaruYui: Aros: *explodes* You are NOT getting into my thoughts! Stop that now, or I'll stop you myself!
LacanPanother: Luc: You'd better not be saying something to him about me again, 'Sir'.
HikaruYui: (*claps*)
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Aros.* Then tell me about how the Key operates.
LacanPanother: OOC: Claps for what?
DagasIsa: (What was that for?)
HikaruYui: (You said "sir." You're catching on ^_^)
HikaruYui: Aros: I did!
LacanPanother: OOC: I already had.
LacanPanother: Luc: No,
LacanPanother: Sirrah. How it steals the heart.
LacanPanother: LUc: *Whispering to Persei.* Why won't you just take the information from his mind? Are you trying to frustrate me more?
LacanPanother: Er, 'Luc'.
HikaruYui: Aros: It unlocks it, so the heart comes out.
LacanPanother: Um, 'not Sir'... 'Boy.'.
LacanPanother: Luc: Stop being a smart aleck.
DagasIsa: Persei: It's a little thing called ethics. And not just that but I've seen his mental state, it's not all that beautiful.
HikaruYui: Aros: You wanted an explanation, and I gave one. Are you through now?
LacanPanother: Luc: I wanted a full explanation. How does it unlock it, how does the Key operate, where does it get its power from, and so on and so forth.
LacanPanother: Luc: I'll be through when you stop acting like a brat and tell me what I want to know.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* 'All right.' *Sighs inwardly.* Please, would you be so kind as to look inside his head and take the information?'
LacanPanother: Er, ""s.
LacanPanother: OOC: And that was a whisper.
DagasIsa: Persei: How does asking nicely change my ethics? I'm sorry, but I have to turn down this job.
HikaruYui: Aros: The key operates as I will it to. And where it's power comes from is none of your concern. It won't affect anything.
LacanPanother: Luc: It might. Now just tell me.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* Then why'd you accept my job to take information from the minds of many others?
HikaruYui: Aros: It's one of the absolute powers in the universe. The power if from the universe itself. It won't affect anything.
LacanPanother: Luc: As a matter of fact, it will. For I bear with me one of those 'absolute powers' myself.
HikaruYui: Aros: *raises an eyebrow* Oh really?
DagasIsa: Persei: *shrugs* I'm fickle like that. Besides that was before I knew how unpleasant you would be. There's something to be said for cultivating human relationships.
LacanPanother: Luc: Yes. But you don't need to know yourself. *Smirks.*
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* *A bit less quietly, more frustrated now.* Then I'll treat you with respect. And I'll get you a position working with the temple Priestesses in Harmonia. Now please...
HikaruYui: Aros: *bristles and bites back a reply*
LacanPanother: ...Er, 'Priests', look inside.
LacanPanother: Er... Luc: ...look inside.
DagasIsa: Persei: Still pass. I'm happy working for my guardian and my brothers, even if we are just pawns.
LacanPanother: Luc: What can I give you in exchange?
LacanPanother: Luc: Now just tell me. Tell me how it operates and I'll tell you about my Rune.
HikaruYui: Aros: I've already told you.
LacanPanother: Luc: Where its power comes from, I mean.
LacanPanother: OOC: The 'what can I give you in exchange?' was to Persei.
DagasIsa: Persei: I doubt it is something that you can really deliver.
LacanPanother: OOC: Oh.
LacanPanother: Luc: Just tell me, please.
DagasIsa: (I know but Persei takes a while to type for)
LacanPanother: OOC: Not a problem.
DagasIsa: Persei: Well, first of all, leaving me to my own business would be a good start. If I agree to work for you. I work for you. This means that I have my privacy and my ethics, neither of which you dictate....
LacanPanother: Luc: I didn't mean to invade your privacy. Goodness knows I wouldn't want to know... Never mind.
DagasIsa: Persei: It also means that you do not own me for whatever, because there's really nothing material that I want. So if I'm helping you, I'm doing it on my own conditions as I will.
LacanPanother: *Luc glares at Aros, waiting for an answer to where it gets its power from rather impatiently.*
HikaruYui: Aros: The universe created the Keyblade. That's what the power came from. It's the Keyblades power.
LacanPanother: Luc: So you too hold a remnant of Sword and Shield. *Concentrates, and the sigil of the True Wind Rune shimmers above Luc's right hand as he looks through the Rune's senses...
LacanPanother: ...At the 'Keyblade'.*
LacanPanother: Luc: So, I see now...
LacanPanother: Luc: *He has a definite frown now.* Your tool is not part of the universe, like my Rune is, it is a tool for sustaining the Balance.
LacanPanother: Luc: Here is my answer to your question about my power.
LacanPanother: Luc: I possess one of the Twenty-Seven True Runes that govern the flow of time and the destiny of this and all the parallel universes comprising the Million Worlds...
LacanPanother: ...One might say it is forever my curse to bear a piece of God Himself. Only I intend to escape that curse soon.
LacanPanother: Luc: You wield a tool instrumental in the maintenance of the Balance by which this universe is governed. Do you truly think you could consume it in darkness? You are its puppet, unwittingly, you poor fool.
HikaruYui: Aros: It's puppet? You don't understand what power I have.
LacanPanother: Luc: I understand all too well, I am afraid.
DagasIsa: Persei: *watches amused*
HikaruYui: Aros: *lips twist into a slight smile* Perhaps you don't know as much about the universe as you think, then.
LacanPanother: Luc: You wield great power. But your power comes from your Key, from a tool of the universe. You have no other power.
LacanPanother: Luc: So long as you wield it, you will be forever its pawn. Unless you, too, seek to destroy your Keys as well...?
LacanPanother: Luc: I know about the universe. I know about all universes. I know about the fate that binds all life to its Balance, ruins lives, ruins happiness, consigns all beings to a cage.
LacanPanother: Luc: The eternal struggle between Dharma and Chaos, unending, unceasing, uncaring of how many lives it shatters.
LacanPanother: Luc: What do you think I don't know?
HikaruYui: Aros: The struggle is between light and dark, and I don't think you understand how the universe can be influenced. But go ahead and keep to your own delusions.
DagasIsa: Persei: *babbles to himself*
LacanPanother: Luc: Did you say something significant, Persei?
DagasIsa: Persei: Significance is in the ears of the beholder. I can say that your talk is babble as much as you can say that mine is.
LacanPanother: Luc: Delusions? No. *He holds up his hand.* Allow me to show you.
LacanPanother: Luc: No, you foolish petty telepath. Don't you understand? I'm trying to save us, save you!
LacanPanother: OOC: Persei, being a telepath, can listen in on this mental conversation between Luc and Aros, but its on a metaphysical plane and is kinda' mental.
DagasIsa: Persei: Actually compared to what I know you're pretty pathetic protection.
LacanPanother: *The scenery is now replaced by a colorless, silent world, devoid of any color. It is completely gray, no life, nothing.*
DagasIsa: Persei: *continues babbling*
LacanPanother: Luc: This is the absolute world.
LacanPanother: OOC: Er... 'absolute world'.
LacanPanother: *Waits to see if Aros in his wisdom comprehends what he's seeing.*
HikaruYui: (Aros in his wisdom? *laughs*)
DagasIsa: (Oh dear)
LacanPanother: OOC: It was sarcastic, of course. :P
LacanPanother: OOC: If you didn't know. :P
DagasIsa: (I think we picked up on it.)
LacanPanother: OOC: Thought so.
HikaruYui: Aros: *looks around almost eagerly at his surroundings* Absolute world? Explain.
LacanPanother: As I told you, this world is controlled by a neverending struggle between Dharma and Chaos. You know them as 'Light' and 'Darkness'... But what do you think this is?
LacanPanother: Luc: Look around. A perfect blend of color. Complete gray. Silence, purity, total order, no sound whatsoever. No life.
HikaruYui: Aros: The perfect world...the world of darkness...
LacanPanother: Luc: This is our fate... Our future!
LacanPanother: Luc: The world of darkness... Perhaps. Maybe you could say the other absolute world, unending Chaos and calamity, complete death but also perhaps eternal suffering, wild colors, is the absolute world of light.
LacanPanother: Luc: Or perhaps you could say this is the 'absolute world of light', for it is a perfect blend of colors.
DagasIsa: Persei: *babbles* Absolutes stink *continues babbling*
LacanPanother: Luc: Tell me, do you think this is your perfect world, or are you just thinking of your own?
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* 'Exactly.'
DagasIsa: Persei: *gives no indication of hearing, even if he has*
HikaruYui: Aros: This is the sort of universe that I am creating!
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Perhaps we understand each other somewhat after all. This is what I wish to save us from. This, or the absolute world of Chaos.'
HikaruYui: Aros: Nothingness...it's perfect...
LacanPanother: Luc: A perfect world? 'Perhaps I underestimated this.' This is not perfect. This is the *Balance's* idea of perfect.
LacanPanother: Luc: Then you are indeed a puppet of the Balance, if you seek to do this. And we should be enemies, not allies. But I do not think you fully understand yet.
HikaruYui: Aros: This is perfection! Darkness...nothingness...the only true perfection!
LacanPanother: Luc: With no life? But then, it seems you loathe life. Tell me... For I begin to wonder, now... Tell me why you loathe life.
LacanPanother: Luc: I suspect you too are cursed by the Balance. And your suffering is due to the very struggle which will result in this absolute world.
HikaruYui: Aros: Why do I despise life? Because life is pain and suffering and nothing more.
LacanPanother: Luc: And it is pain and suffering because of the Balance.
LacanPanother: Luc: Because of Destiny. This eternal struggle between Dharma and Chaos.
HikaruYui: Aros: Life is pain and suffering because of the people!
LacanPanother: Luc: And those people are bound by that Balance.
LacanPanother: Luc: They cannot choose their own destinies because the universe wills them to be in opposition to each other, to war and fight, all for the sake of maintaining its eternal struggle.
HikaruYui: Aros: *shakes his head* Oh no. There's nothing but the people to blame. All people...we're all better off as nothing!
HikaruYui: Aros: You're the one who doesn't understand.
LacanPanother: Luc: Really? Why don't you tell me?
LacanPanother: Luc: Have you seen three friends, close enough to be family, torn apart cruelly?
HikaruYui: Aros: *eyes widen* And what do you mean by that question?
LacanPanother: Luc: I have once. I have seen horrible suffering caused to the both of them. A gentle soul forced to lose everything dear to him, sent through indescribable agony, because of the Balance.
LacanPanother: Luc: The influence of his half of the True Rune of the Beginning sent him down a dark path, took him from his best friend, the girl closest to him in this world, a child he thought of as his little sister...
HikaruYui: Aros: You're just justifying! You're justifying what people have done!
LacanPanother: ...It whispered, told him to strike like an assassin, to destroy those who threatened his loved ones from within.
LacanPanother: Luc: He did it because he loved those three friends! Because the Rune told him it was the only way!
LacanPanother: Luc: And yes, because of people...
LacanPanother: Luc: You're not entirely wrong. He betrayed his friends, the boy and the girl and the child, because a man captured him when he tried to hold off enemies so his friends could escape.
HikaruYui: Aros: And if existence were nothing, then none of this would matter.
LacanPanother: Luc: This man's soldiers, rather. And the Prince who had him captured threatened to kill his family if he did not work for them. And this man, Atriedes... He pretended to accept...
LacanPanother: ...To attempt to work for him. For a family that had disowned him. That's how gentle he was. So yes, it is people. But it was also the destiny of the Rune. This destiny forced him further, once he'd betrayed...
LacanPanother: ...the Prince, to take the throne and remain on the opposing side. The Rune convinced him that one nation of two warring had to be victorious in order to achieve true peace...
LacanPanother: ...And his, already mighty, ought to. And because of this destiny, in the ensuing combat, the girl died from a bow shot.
LacanPanother: Luc: Destiny. A man known as Leon Silverburg manipulated this Atriedes into not stopping the war, into attaining true piece, but Destiny did it as well. And in the end, Jowy's friend was forced to kill him.
HikaruYui: Aros: Enough! If you've seen all that, you should understand.
LacanPanother: Luc: Because of fate!!
LacanPanother: Luc: I won't let any close friends like that be torn apart again!
LacanPanother: Luc: I was powerless then, but not so now. I'll change destiny with my own hands, free us all from this neverending curse!
HikaruYui: Aros: Fate...don't talk to me about fate!
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Don't you see too, Persei?'
HikaruYui: Aros: You change fate? You don't follow it?
DagasIsa: Persei: Oh yeah, I see. I'm just not really all that impressed. The scale of my mind is extremely petty.
LacanPanother: Luc: I intend to change it. To free us all. So that no gentle boy can die in pain, forcing his friend to kill him because he has despaired of life, wanting to die for all the horrible...
LacanPanother: ...things he did, thinking it was out of love, but manipulated by the Rune which the Balance chose him to bear!~
LacanPanother: Luc: You don't want this to happen... Why do you think it is not fate? Do you think you would have been allowed your 'Keyblade' had the Balance not chosen you?
LacanPanother: Luc: That one mortal could control a tool of the universe?
HikaruYui: Aros: I am not tied to any path!
HikaruYui: Aros: The Keyblade can work for light or dark. The choice is mine!
HikaruYui: Aros: Fate...fate is what other fools believe in...
LacanPanother: Luc: Your reasons being?
LacanPanother: Luc: You say it was the people's fault, yet you bear a tool of the universe. Tell me what happened. And we shall see if you were hurt by fate, or by mortals.
LacanPanother: Luc: 'You don't say, Persei? So you would rather live in a cage, a blind sheep shepherded around by wherever the Balance chooses to move you?'
HikaruYui: Aros: I was hurt because of an idiot who believed in dreams and in a foolish man who knew nothing. And then she went with him instead of me...just because she loved him! She had more sense...she knew it was wrong...
HikaruYui: Aros: *cuts off, abruptly turning away*
DagasIsa: Persei: *shrugs* I personally don't buy into your mythology. And these people, yeah, they're stories are sad, but you know what, so many other people have similar stories that I can't imagine....
LacanPanother: Luc: Yes, that's true. Unless these dreams were prophetic visions of some sort, then people did hurt you. But that makes you a child who wants to break his toys because...
DagasIsa: That theirs is worth anymore to me than that of my brothers or my guardian. One death is a tradgety, a million is a statistic.
DagasIsa: And even if we're not talking about death, the same holds for any tragedy.
LacanPanother: ...they no longer work the way he wants. Only your environment is what's broken, so you want to destroy it.
HikaruYui: Aros: My story isn't a single occurrence! People betray each other. Love brings nothing but pain. None of it should exist. None of it!
LacanPanother: *Luc's eyes widen at 'statistic', and for the first time since he can remember he fails to keep his emotions inside: "Why don't you shut the heck up, Persei!?"*
LacanPanother: *Luc finds himself shaken by those words of Aros', for the first time.*
DagasIsa: Persei: I bet you're thinking that I just shut up. You know I consider the words 'shut up Persei' to be a symbol of pride. Everyone says them. You're not the first and you're not unique either.
LacanPanother: "Even so," Luc hisses back to Aros, "You are in no position to judge."
LacanPanother: "What that kind of pain is. What would you know of how love is pain?"
HikaruYui: Aros: *quietly* Don't ask me that question.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei. 'Its not pride, you feebleminded idiot. I have known extreme death. You have not. Statistic?'*
LacanPanother: *His words from Le Buque rebound in his mind over and over. "It will cause a million deaths. Though I, too, have known extreme death, I do not know if I have the strength."*
LacanPanother: Luc: Tell me something, then... What would you do if it was the girl you loved who was shot with the arrow, and your friend the one Destiny forced you to fight?
DagasIsa: Persei: *nods* Statistic. Something so beyond my pathetic *snicker* comprehension that I can reduce it to a number.
LacanPanother: *He can't think now, and its hard to breathe suddenly. He dispells the absolute world, not wanting to see it.*
LacanPanother: *Luc spins on Persei and sends a relatively weak, but still harmful, blast of razor sharp whirling wind and leaves at her.* "Shut up!! Just shut *up*!!!"
DagasIsa: Persei: *shrugs* Maybe it's the same thing. Those close to me are in a struggle. Look at my oldest brother. Sure he's normal compared to you, but he's still pretty messed up.
LacanPanother: *He takes a deep breath, blinking his eyes furiously, and turns back to Aros.*
DagasIsa: Persei: *stumbles but gets up and readies himself*
LacanPanother: 'Love as pain...' *Deep down, he knows exactly why the words disturb him. And he can't face it.* 'Sarah...'
LacanPanother: *Right now, he wishes more than anything she was here at this moment.*
HikaruYui: Aros: You really don't understand, do you? You think I haven't been against my friend? How about against the woman I loved? Shut up and don't ask me about what you don't understand!
LacanPanother: Luc: I didn't love Nanami, no. But a triad... It occurs to me. Tell me, if she died due to you, what would you do?
HikaruYui: Aros: I would kill her for all I care anymore, after what she did to me!
HikaruYui: (Yeah...like he really means that)
DagasIsa: (*snickers*)
LacanPanother: Luc: Would you really want this? You bear a tool of the universe... This 'foolish man'... He advised her and her friend...
LacanPanother: ...Tell me, was he a sage? For the will of the Balance was involved with you.
HikaruYui: Aros: A sage? He was a fool who thought he knew everything!
LacanPanother: 'And if he isn't, I would almost want to kill you as mercy. Silverberg... How much of what Jowy did was his fault? How much was destiny?'
LacanPanother: Luc: I thought so. You said 'he knew nothing'... You deride him. He was an agent of the Balance. And you lost the girl because of him, didn't you?
LacanPanother: 'I'd want to kill you, but you need to grow up. As a matter of fact.' Luc: And let me add this. So you lost one girl? So you were rejected? So what? That's nothing compared to what Jowy went through.
HikaruYui: Aros: You don't understand anything!
LacanPanother: OOC: I think someone's forgetting something? ;-) Its been what, two hours now? *Points at an instrument.*
HikaruYui: (My roomie and her friend are studying, so now I'm stuck)
DagasIsa: (of course)
HikaruYui: (I'll just have to do it tomorrow)
LacanPanother: OOC. Oh. Well, unfortunately, I need to get ready for bed. I hope no one wants to go on without me...?
DagasIsa: (*nods* but you'll probably be bothered by some random friend)
HikaruYui: (lol)
HikaruYui: (nah, we can take a break or end it, whichever you prefer)
DagasIsa: (*silence*) ^_^
LacanPanother: OOC: Well, its hardly over. So break, I guess.
DagasIsa: (*nod nod*)
HikaruYui: (k)
LacanPanother: OOC: Be back shortly.
HikaruYui: (yeah)
DagasIsa: (bai bai)
LacanPanother: Back.
HikaruYui: wb
DagasIsa: hey.
LacanPanother: All right then... Resume right away?
HikaruYui: sure
LacanPanother: All right.
DagasIsa: (kay)
LacanPanother: Luc: I don't understand? You lost the girl because of this 'sage', right?
LacanPanother: Luc: Or would you have lost her to your friend anyway?
HikaruYui: Aros: That's not what matters anyway.
LacanPanother: Luc: It does.
LacanPanother: Luc: If it was the Sage, you lost her to Destiny!
DagasIsa: Persei: Or he just lost her because she liked the other guy better.
HikaruYui: Aros: She chose him! She chose Kiru even though she didn't trust Ansem either! I lost her to him...he took her! He betrayed us, and she followed him!
LacanPanother: Luc: So it wasn't the sage. Now tell me, then, why you can't just get over it?
DagasIsa: Persei: Because people are funny like that.
LacanPanother: Luc: You are a fool, to seek the perfection of the 'absolute world' simply because you lost one person.
HikaruYui: Aros: *sputters* Just...get over it? Just get over it when humanity does things like that to each other again and again and again?
HikaruYui: Aros: I will stop everyone's suffering! And my own will be the last.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* No, people can be petty. Or they can rely so much on one person their lost is devastating...
HikaruYui: Aros: Are you trying to call me selfish? Don't bother.
HikaruYui: Aros: And I will never forget her or him or what they did to me!!
DagasIsa: Persei: Pettiness is what really keeps the world from ending. What do you think would happen if everyone were as important as you think yourself to be?
LacanPanother: Luc: No. I'll tell you one other thing. Jowy became King by marriying the Princess of the realm who loved him. When he began to lose the war, the Beast Rune...
LacanPanother: ...Demanded a blood sacrifice in order to gain more power. It was a meager ritual, but it would have done nothing. Yet there was one person he could've sacrificed...
LacanPanother: ...to give his troops morale. Tell me, what do you think? Did he sacrifice his wife?
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* I don't think of myself as that important. No, I simply will do anything so I'm not powerless again, so I can save them from the tragedy of history and the spell of fate.
HikaruYui: Aros: You don't get the point, do you? Those choices shouldn't even have to exist. That suffering shouldn't have to exist.
DagasIsa: Persei: You act like it though. And it what they say about actions speaking louder than words. And trust me, I hear it from you and your elegant talk with destiny.
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei* Why don't you stop making a mockery out of the cause of so much suffering, you shallow ditz?
LacanPanother: Luc: Answer the question.
DagasIsa: Persei: Because I haven't seen the suffering yet. Because honestly, I've seen what happens to all you 'deep people.' you all go crazy. I'm a ditz, yes. But I'm a ditz for a reason.
LacanPanother: Luc: I have. Too many times. And I'll tell you something else, and then tell me I am superior. I am apart. Imagine living a life where everything else seems flickering shadows, dim embers, ghosts to the reality you live?
LacanPanother: Luc: Because of the Rune.
LacanPanother: OOC: The 'Answer the question.' was to Aros, in case that was unclear.
HikaruYui: (Sorry, didn't pick up on that)
DagasIsa: Persei: Yeah, we're all apart. We all need to be one with something. I honestly can't wait to be all together again. And your superiority is still apparent even to us ditzes.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Hissing.* "How dare you mock me."
HikaruYui: Aros: Sacrifice his wife who loved him? If she was...if she was true to him then...*turns away, trying to control his emotions* then there shouldn't have even been a choice for him! How can he put destiny before her?
LacanPanother: Luc: Don't you understand, you simpleminded telepath?
HikaruYui: Aros: How can he care about destiny more?
HikaruYui: Aros: He's a fool!
LacanPanother: *Luc turns back to Aros, and now he's almost smiling. "He didn't."
DagasIsa: You come in acting like your agenda is more important than ours, you speak to us as if we are merely your tools. And you speak as if your story should be more important to us than our own....
HikaruYui: Aros: *sputters* Well then...that was the decision he should have made.
LacanPanother: Luc: And do you know what else? That girl died at the critical battle between him and his opposing country. He still had a chance to win, but he ordered his army to retreat so she could get help.
DagasIsa: Do I understand? I suppose we can debate that, but honestly, I have more fascinating conversations to get back to.
LacanPanother: Luc: Sadly, the medical help wasn't enough, and she died anyway.
LacanPanother: Luc: My point is, he did not sacrifice her. In your harsh perspective, the way you thought, you believed he had.
LacanPanother: Luc: If not for the curse of Destiny, he would have broken free of Silverburg's machinations and could have lived happily with her and the child who looked up to him as a younger brother.
LacanPanother: Luc: The pain you see isn't the only constant. Humanity can be selfless, can be compassionate. But in the end, the Balance will strike them down anyway.
LacanPanother: Luc: As for you, Persei...
LacanPanother: Luc: Do you even have a story?
DagasIsa: Persei: *dodges*
DagasIsa: Persei: Oh what?
DagasIsa: Persei: Naa, but I know plenty of people who do. But those that really have the right to tell their story choose not to.
LacanPanother: Luc: Besides what you've already told me about your guardian? And yes, my agenda is more important, I must save the Million Worlds.
DagasIsa: Persei: *shrugs* I can save the whole universe if it comes down to it.
LacanPanother: Luc: *Scoffs.* Hardly.
LacanPanother: Luc: You're a mere telepath, you can't fight God.
DagasIsa: Persei: *smiles* Well, if she really cared to call herself that, I work directly for God.
LacanPanother: Luc: What True Rune does your guardian have?
LacanPanother: *Luc glances back at Aros, wondering what he will say. What he's thinking now, so silent and unresponsive.*
DagasIsa: Persei: They're not called runes, in our knowledge of it. I believe they're called something like seeds. She carries the seed of true 'goodness.' And trust me, it's not fun.
LacanPanother: Luc: Then you are a disgrace to your guardian. Wouldn't you want to free her, too, bound by the Balance?
DagasIsa: Persei: That's her choice to make though. Until she and she alone orders my brothers and I to take action, I don't follow through.
LacanPanother: Luc: When I am done, she will be free.
DagasIsa: Persei: Yeah, and I bet that she won't be happy for it. Did ever occur to you that she might have an agenda of her own, one that she doesn't let anyone know about?
LacanPanother: Luc: She must feel it too. The eternal loneliness, the curse of existing apart. From the time she found the True Rune, until now.
DagasIsa: Persei: Maybe she doesn't desire her freedom. Maybe she's choosing to stay bound for a reason, she's like that.
LacanPanother: Luc: Do you think I care what the agenda is of anyone who willingly consents to bearing a piece of the Balance?
LacanPanother: Luc: Then she is a fool. And I hope she alone stays bound.
LacanPanother: Luc: To curse her foolishness.
DagasIsa: Persei: You mean someone who takes their burden and deals with it so that others aren't pressured.
LacanPanother: Luc: You truly are an idiot. You don't 'take' a burden. Not unless you're like my... Well, forget that. The Rune chooses its Bearer. She had no choice.
DagasIsa: Persei: No, she had no choice in taking it, but perhaps she had a choice of freeing herself from it earlier.
LacanPanother: *Luc glances back at Aros, wondering. Are emotions roiling in his eyes? Torment? He cannot tell.*
LacanPanother: Luc: And of course she'd choose to bear it. All you Runebearers are self-sacrificing idiots. You'd throw away your lives for nothing. I will die even as I destroy my True Rune, but it will be worth it!
HikaruYui: Aros: *stares down at the ground, fuming at what he has been told, his mind racing at the surge of emotions that he thought had been suppressed*
DagasIsa: Persei: *babbles* You do that. *continues babbling*
LacanPanother: Luc: 'And I will also finally be free. But Sarah...'
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Love is pain... But then what has she...'
LacanPanother: Luc: Go on. Talk away the world. Run away. Run away forever, Persei. When your guardian weeps as you're old and dying and she remains unchanged, immortal...
LacanPanother: Luc: When this has happened to her again and again, for centuries upon centuries, never able to form attachments even if she could break past that distance, see the real world as more than shades...
DagasIsa: Persei: Yeah, yeah. Mortality is funny that way. But hey, I can be replaced.
LacanPanother: Luc: ...You have no sense of self value.'
LacanPanother: Luc: ...Replaced? You're not a 'vessel'.
DagasIsa: Persei: *smiles* You don't think? What do you think the ditziness is?
DagasIsa: Persei: Oh and you don't think she's had helpers for millenia?
LacanPanother: Luc: How does ditziness make you a vessel?
LacanPanother: Luc: Helpers... Only to see them pass.
LacanPanother: 'Love is pain...' *Luc looks back at Aros, wondering.*
DagasIsa: Persei: My ditizness gives me self value. I mean something to the human side of her, which she lives in most of the time. I mean something to my brothers. I mean something to a lot of other people.
DagasIsa: Hopefully I'll mean something to a girl one day.
LacanPanother: 'And all this time, she would have... Perhaps I am the one who deserves to lose my heart.'
LacanPanother: Luc: And you will mean something to her for the moment. But it will fade. And if, as you say, she *treasures* immortality, that too will be destroyed.
LacanPanother: Luc: When Dharma and Chaos have their final battle, and the absolute world is born.
LacanPanother: Luc: Unless I do what I am doing.
DagasIsa: Persei: Oh no, she doesn't really treasure it. She just chose it because that's what she thought she had to do. Besides, if you really want to think about it, she's already dead.
LacanPanother: Luc: 'I must set her free of this course. But she wouldn't have it. She'd sacrifice herself for me a million times over before she left my side. ...I should have never told her.'
LacanPanother: Luc: That still doesn't tell me why I should let unknowable lifeforms through a million worlds die.
DagasIsa: Persei: I'm not telling you to let anything die. I'm telling you to just let her do her job and you just go on with whatever you want to believe in.
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Enough of this. Perhaps I can knock her unconscious, tell Albert to remove her from my side before the ritual. It will hurt her, but she will not die then. But she would probably follow me... Yet this ritual...
LacanPanother: ...Must be carried out! Even for her, I can't... We both know what she must do. She wants to help me bear this burden, of causing these million deaths to save these Million Worlds...'
LacanPanother: 'Deny her, accept her, no matter what happens...' *He glances at Aros, eyes haunted.* How strong is your belief?
HikaruYui: Aros: My belief? My belief is unbreakable.
LacanPanother: *But I'd win anyway. This isn't a battle of wills. What am I saying?*
LacanPanother: Er, ''s.
LacanPanother: 'There is no going back. Only now, I can no longer deny what pain her devotion causes her. And know that I am the cause.'
LacanPanother: Luc: Forget it. Tell me, do you understand what I told you? My story?
HikaruYui: Aros: About that boy?
LacanPanother: Luc: What happened to his wife? How he spared her, took back his army to let his friend live?
LacanPanother: Luc: All he did, why Destiny manipulated him, was from his kindness in the first place! A kindness which would not lead to suffering if only the Balance were destroyed! Nothing else!
HikaruYui: Aros: If I succeed, it wouldn't have happened anyway.
LacanPanother: Luc: Others suffer. Love can be pain, I might know that more than you. But for those few who don't... If you care so much, feel their pain so much, why not nurture those?
HikaruYui: Aros: Nurture? So they can suffer more?
LacanPanother: Luc: Freed from the Balance, you will not be powerless.
HikaruYui: Aros: Life isn't worth the price!
LacanPanother: Luc: No. So they can enjoy the life, the future, we could give them!
LacanPanother: Luc: I will pay any price for that life!
HikaruYui: Aros: There is no life that isn't pain.
LacanPanother: Luc: Is that true? Although it hurts, does the girl you love live in pain now, or happy with the one she does love?
LacanPanother: Luc: If you truly loved her, would you take away her happiness?
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Like I am? Who am I to say this??'
HikaruYui: Aros: Happiness? What happiness? Now she has neither of us. Is she happy? No. She won't be. She can't. We'd all be better off in darkness!
LacanPanother: Luc: 'I sacrifice millions to save infinite. But I will save them, he would destroy them! But even then...'
LacanPanother: Luc: What do you mean, 'neither'?
HikaruYui: Aros: *lips twist into an ironic smirk* I mean what I said. So much for her decision. She is all alone.
LacanPanother: Luc: I live in shadows. Life to me is shadows. It has brought me nothing but suffering and loneliness! What you seek to do is counterproductive!
LacanPanother: Luc: So you had him killed? *Shakes head.* She would have been happy if not for you. You only wish to end suffering to end your own life. And wished vengeance. If you...
LacanPanother: ...truly wanted to free her from pain, you wouldn't have done this!
HikaruYui: Aros: You blame me because he left her? They separated of their own accord! And could care less where he is now.
HikaruYui: Aros: But yes, I'll kill him... When I find him, I will kill him!
LacanPanother: Luc: If you want oblivion, I can give it to you now!... Why do I not believe you?
LacanPanother: Luc: That she doesn't care where he is?
HikaruYui: Aros: *shakes head* Of course she cares! I don't care. All I care is that he has something that I want. Beyond that, he has no use.
LacanPanother: Luc: Then you don't love her.
HikaruYui: Aros: Oh really? He should get what he deserves for betraying me like that!
HikaruYui: Aros: And she is a fool for clinging to him!
LacanPanother: Luc: And you seek to cause pain when it benefits you, free yourself from pain where it benefits you. You're nothing but a child throwing a temper tantrum!
LacanPanother: Luc: Grow up. *He holds his hand forward.* You won't do anything. I'll destroy your Keyblades right here. I won't use tools of the Balance, and perhaps without toys you can use to smash things you'll...
LacanPanother: ...grow up.
LacanPanother: Luc: And live, perhaps truly help those you imagine are now. You will have a future, just as we all will!
LacanPanother: *The True Wind Rune sigil shines above him. Yet to destroy a tool of the universe, even if it is not a True Rune... It may take more than he has. He lowers his hand.*
HikaruYui: Aros: *eyes narrow, filled with rage. he struggles to speak* Oh, you'll destroy them? And how? You think you can...you think I'l bring them out so you can destroy them? You think you can even do it?
LacanPanother: Luc: 'But then how...? If I steal them, place them in the vessel when I crush the True Wind Rune, they too will be destroyed.'
HikaruYui: Aros: You mock me when in truth you're the one who doesn't understand at all!
LacanPanother: Luc: I can bring them out. I'll just steal a spare.
LacanPanother: *He holds up his hand, and an orb with two tapered tops floating above and below their poles appears.*
LacanPanother: Luc: I had intended to use this to steal a True Rune. Using it to seize a weaker tool of the universe will work just as well, and I'll steal more from Harmonia or make them when I need to.
LacanPanother: Luc: I will take your Keyblades, right now!
LacanPanother: *He holds up his hand, and energy begins to crackle within the orb, energy building inside Aros at the same time where the orb senses his Keyblades lay.*
HikaruYui: Aros: Do something!! *The target of these words is unclear, and Aros recoils desperately*
LacanPanother: *And the energy begins to build even more, the collateral energies exploding and roaring around sphere and body both as the Keyblades are slowly extracted.*
LacanPanother: *Well, one is.*
LacanPanother: *The Black Keyblade is pulled free, finally, and then vanishes and reappears in the vessel.*
LacanPanother: *Although it struggles, it cannot break free.*
HikaruYui: *Aros uses his own mind to pull at the Black Keyblade himself*
LacanPanother: Luc: Now, for the other one. *He summons up another vessel.*
LacanPanother: *The sphere shakes, but holds.*
HikaruYui: Aros: You can't do this!
HikaruYui: Aros: You can't have them both! We have more power than that!
LacanPanother: Luc: You think that will work? This can confine True Runes!
LacanPanother: Luc: Funny? I don't see you stopping me from taking the other one.
LacanPanother: *The new vessel present, he begins to gather energies in preparation to take Aros' other Keyblade.*
HikaruYui: *Aros calls the Silver Keyblade to his hand, holding it securely, focusing his "mind" on it*
LacanPanother: 2...
LacanPanother: 1...
LacanPanother: 0.50...
LacanPanother: 0.25...
HikaruYui: *The Keyblade does not move*
HikaruYui: (Don't forget what you don't know)
LacanPanother: *Again, the energies in the orb begin to crackle. And Luc bends his will to the orb.* OOC: I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But there's no way he can retrieve the Black one.
HikaruYui: *Two wills against one, isn't it?)
LacanPanother: OOC: He can save this one. But unless he attains more power than a True Rune, which you have no idea of the power of right now and is arguably a match for even World of Chaos Ansem, Black's gone.
HikaruYui: *Aros focuses his will(s) securely on the Keyblade, and it stays in his hand*
LacanPanother: OOC: Arguably more than a match. Even Ansem can't wipe out an entire continent in one blast of power.
HikaruYui: (Hmm...I suppose he could do it, but only if he delved into more power than he's meant to)
HikaruYui: (*than he means to)
LacanPanother: OOC: Or an entire planet. The full power of a single True Rune is enormous.
LacanPanother: *Luc tries to yank the Silver Keyblade into the vessel, bending his will upon it with more force himself. The orb crackles, and the Keyblade, but only a little...*
LacanPanother: Luc: 'Forget this.'
LacanPanother: *He holds out one hand, and blasts Aros backward with an orb of razor sharp winds.*
HikaruYui: *Aros repels most of them with the Keyblade, but is knocked backwards slightly, stumbling a bit*
LacanPanother: Luc: *To Persei.* Can I convince you to distract his focus?
LacanPanother: Luc: I'd rather not hurt him. If you can break his focus, I can take the Keyblade.
DagasIsa: Persei: I am so out of this right now, that it amazes me how far out I am.
HikaruYui: Aros: I earned this one with my own hands! Don't think you have any right!
LacanPanother: Luc: I thought you'd didn't care for him.
LacanPanother: Luc: Then I'll 'earn it' from you with mine!
DagasIsa: (Umm... this is more an issue with me personally)
LacanPanother: *He begins to summon up energy, holding a hand forward, blue specks floating and rising around him.*
LacanPanother: OOC: What is it, if its not personal?
HikaruYui: *Aros closes his eyes and delves himself into the darkness, cementing his will and his heart in holding the Keyblade to him*
LacanPanother: The blue energies build around him, and the moment of the spell comes...
DagasIsa: (You're controlling the way that the battle goes and giving very little opportunity for Aros to fight back. I'm not going to ruin that one opportunity.)
DagasIsa: (And Persei's pretty fed up with both of them)
LacanPanother: OOC: He's powering up now. And I struck by surprise. Besides, Luc does this in the Game.
LacanPanother: OOC: You would not believe how frustrated Amber got when he and company simply rip the True Runes from the party members and they can't do a thing to stop him? Amber was freaking out bigtime.
LacanPanother: OOC: Err... Megumi, I hope you're not upset?
HikaruYui: (I'd rather not have to get into exactly what Aros can have as defense...he's probably not willing anyway.)
DagasIsa: (Yesh. You think there's a reason for it?)
HikaruYui: (I didn't get a whole lot of time. But what happened has happened.)
LacanPanother: OOC: Dagas, who's that comment directed at? Now I'm worried.
HikaruYui: (Oh, don't worry about what did happen. Aros could use an ego smack anyway.)
LacanPanother: *The spell builds. In 5...
LacanPanother: 4...
LacanPanother: 3...
LacanPanother: 2...
LacanPanother: 1...
LacanPanother: 0.50...
HikaruYui: (I think Aros already has his defenses set)
LacanPanother: 0.25...
LacanPanother: (I'm still doing a fair countdown... And if he didn't, he'd be too slow.)
LacanPanother: Luc: Pale Palace!!
DagasIsa: (Towards the one about your friend getting upset when that happens to her)
LacanPanother: *He vanishes, and Aros is transported into an ethereal reality where an enormous serpentine figure hovers, seven ice crystals moving around it, stormy blue skies above and below.*
LacanPanother: *The Summoned Water Dragon, brought from the Pale Gate Rune, screams and lunges, and an enormous ice crystal the size of two houses descends into Aros and impacts.*
HikaruYui: *Aros gives a cry, and a shield of pure darkness appears before him*
LacanPanother: OOC: I'm very happy to hear you think I'm treating Megumi with that little respect. You remind me of a certain friend's sister. *Sigh.*
LacanPanother: OOC: Grr, gotta' look up the names of some spells I don't remember again. One moment.
HikaruYui: (That was an uncalled for stab at Dagas)
LacanPanother: OOC: I'm not done yet. :: Please, I'm very sorry. I don't mean to look that way. Please understand.
DagasIsa: (*shrugs* I know you don't do in on purpose.)
LacanPanother: OOC: No offense to you. I mean to say is it reminds me of something, and hurts for additional reasons too besides the accusation. And I would not **ever** treat Megumi that way. I'm begging you.*
HikaruYui: (Don't freak out)
HikaruYui: (This is all supposed to be in good fun)
LacanPanother: OOC: I know. But she just said you had a lot of reasons to be upset. Even if you weren't...
DagasIsa: (Again
