Aiee, poor Kimahri! This was a challenge to read, because you presented it so well from Kimahri's perspective that a little of his discomfort transfers to the reader! It's a neat trick, turning a description of a pleasant feast into a social nightmare, something many of us have probably experienced at some time in our lives. Yuna's childish insensitivity to Kimahri is again something few writers think to do -- she's human, she's not perfect, and she may not have been an angelic child 24/7.
Seymour is as creepy as ever.
I feel a need for one more comma here, to avoid a startling plot twist: "The Lady Yuna, daughter of High-Summoner Braska[,] and her Ronso Guardian."
