The Cultette's backstory: On the fence about them. On one hand all of them involved them either a) being victims of men, or b) a tragedy tied with a female role. On the other hand, one specific trope is not invoked, and its absence when talking about women having tragic backstories is kind of nice.

Abe: As expected, Nao's pretty much stolen her away from Harimoto.

Akiyama: "You don't know how to trust somebody. That's why I can't team up with you...as simple as that." I find this amusing, coming from Akiyama.

The game: Looks like Yokoya's victory is sealed. But, we've been absent Team Akiyama PoV for a while now, which is a sign that something is going on with them that if we saw now, would ruin the suspense. Also, it's notable that we don't get the confirmation from Alsab that Harimoto lost that round. He probably did, but I'm just saying...

I know how this story works.
