Liar Game Reactions: 129-132

129: The visual motifs get a little silly, sometimes. More negotiations and backstabbing between Harimoto and Yokoya. Also more of Nao trying to court Abe, which is kind of sad, because I don't think Abe is moved at all by Nao. Also, I kind of laugh that offering water seems to be the preferred form of outreach in this series. And who didn't see the tie move coming, after Yokoya asked about it.
130: More negotiations. More of Kurifuji in the back room explaining things to the audience by proxy of Forli (and me wondering how Forli even got his job as one of the painted-mask dealers). Also more Hitler comparisons regarding Yokoya. *sigh* I mean, I kind of like how they play with Yokoya's desire for domination especially as it's more of a power behind the throne than it is an overt dive at leadership.
131: Title page = yum. Also, love Yokoya's reaction to Baldy calling Nao gullible. Well, not the mouse squooshing, but the anger. Yeah, Nao's gullible, but trick for trick Yokoya's win-loss ratio for Nao is...not good. Plus Nao lies like she tells the truth. So I'm guessing that Yokoya already had a dim idea that she was going to pull something on their group again. Also, the voting thing, way to divide Yokoya's group, and doubly so for Nao choosing to get rid of one of Yokoya's chairs. Like no one saw that coming.
132: -.- First, in regards to the whole Ootsuka/Mikamoto thing. Really? Really? I must say, I was never quite on board with the idea of Harimoto and his Cultettes, because after ~100 chapters with almost no female characters in the extended cast, three women in service to an old man is not what I want to see. Doubly so, one of them using their feminine wiles to get one of Yokoya's minions on their side. A female chessmaster character would be awesome. Second, and more happily, Kaitani is doing nothing to disabuse me of the notion that Nao is completely and ragingly pairable with everyone. Also more happily, I know the backroom discussions made it sound like Harimoto "has" Nao the same way he "has" Ootsuka, but I'm going to remain skeptical until Nao does something that hurts her team for the benefit of Harimoto's.
I've also seen the spoilers for 133. To be vague: I'm probably going to waver between loving it and wanting to yell at Kaitani.
