When I can find where ever I put those handouts Val gave us, I'm going to post that test here. I'm just curious to see how sleep deprived everyone I know is.

This test is a good approximation of the questions, although I think that the person writing/translating this is slightly sleep deprived themselves.

So, since I have a few minutes, I'll try to bring a better translation to the questions.

1) Do you need a lound alarm clock to wake you up in the morning?

2) Do you use the sleep button on the alarm clock or just turn off the alarm and go back to sleep?

3) Is it hard to get up in the morning?

4) Do you often sleep through your alarm?

5) Do you feel an effect after only one alcoholic beverage?

6) Do you sleep more during the weekends?

7) Do you sleep longer during holidays or vacations?

8) Do you feel depressed for no particular reason?

9) Are you having a harder time dealing with daily activities?

10) Do you fall asleep or doze off without meaning to?

11) Do you feel sleepy when reading?

12) Do you doze off while riding (as a passenger) in airplanes, cars, buses or trains when you travel for more than one hour nonstop?

13) Do you fall asleep or doze off while watching TV?

14) Do you feel sleepy after a heavy lunch?

15) Do you feel sleepy during concerts, plays, conferences, (or classes)?

16) Do you doze off while stopped in traffic?

17) Do you drink more than 4 cups of any caffienated beverage a day?

Actually, the paper one was better, but I can't find it grr....
Oh, and for anyone interested, I got an 11. Which is right on the edge of 'bad but not too bad'
