Meditation works, Yep it does.
Jul. 31st, 2003 03:40 pmAll right, I think I've just had some bit of a day from the Inferno. You know I was thinking last night that I should take today off instead of Friday, especially because no one would be there to really care. I had music to listen to, darn it. And you know what? In retrospect, I so should have.
About 9:00 today, my pruners break. Those lovely long-handled pruners that had that cool little spring thingy that allowed me to pulverize huge tree-like bushes snapped. Yes I was quite ticketed off at that, even to the point where an entry written there from my imaginary internet connected laptop that I drag into the woods would have had quite a bit of swearing and vulgarity.
Quickly turning myself into a nervous wreck, I decided to take a break, sit by the river and close my eyes for a few seconds. Since I cannot be anything but a blank slate, I let all my random thought fall through. Upon opening my eyes, I was over it and back to work.
Rodion: In other words, at the age of eighteen-and-one-half, you have learned to get over things. I applaud your emotional development.
In other news, I went down to the State office to get my ID done. It's like that old contradiction: it takes ID to get ID. And none of the stuff that I brought, except for the SS card and the Voter's registration card was actually right. Fortunately, I managed to get everything done. And now I am in my usual place, with one more piece of photo ID on me.
Over and out.
