For your sacrifice

Yeah! Two days off of school. Thank you all the poor, poor juniors that are going to sacrifice themselves with the standardized tests so that we, the members of the other classes, can get the two days off. Remember: The ACT is important, but this is only STATE testing, so some schools aren't going to take it. And the Prarie State Exams? One big fat pratical joke the state is playing. 4 divided by 2? Come on.

I've got the weirdest idea for a fanfiction idea. Picture Fushigi Yuugi and the Canterbury Tales. More importantly, picture the "Merchant's Tale" (i.e. Old man marries young woman. Young woman gets it off with a servant in the tree right over the head of her blind husband). Yeah, that explains it. Anyway it would star Miaka, Tamahome, and Tokaki. And if you know the "Merchant's Tale" you can probably figure out the plot. English class shall never relinquish its hold on me.

Currently, I'm obsessed with Onitsuka Chihiro. This Armor completly describes the shadows. Particularly "Shadow" (of course), and "Infection" (think Katarin while discovering Kage's blindness). Katarin is a new character, Kage's mother. She's very conservative, concerned about her son being able to live a normal life. I think the whole love story thing is more interesting if they're the people who care about the rules of the Shadow society.

So . . . do I watch "Gata" or do I just leave well enough alone? Tries to check time . . . oh well, it doesn't matter.
