Dorm?
Yes, I'm what you would call a college girl now.
I'm fine now. This morning was quite distressing, what with having to leave Maggie behind. I don't know if the puppy even knew what was going on. I rubbed her belly. Played with her and her donut, and said 'Hi' way too many times. The bye was only said once though. That's going to be the first thing I miss. I think the next time I write home, I'll ask for a picture of her getting her belly rubbed.
Anyway, the car ride up was strange. Except for the fact that I had all my stuff in the backseat, it felt like every other time that I went to U of I. In the frenzy to pack up all my CDs, the only one I had left was Shiina Hekiru's Face to Face. The album. The one that owns my soul. So I listened to the CD, paying attention to the songs, and what they really mean.
Atarashii Kaze is going to be my theme song. Seriously. "Only the things we can see can captivate us. The heartbeat we can touch though is invisible" "The you you want to be is the you that's waiting in the future" "A new wind is blowing. People and dreams are being reborn."
Anyway, I need to check out the ATM. See if my debit card works. Also check out the campus.
