Yeah, I've been doing that for my main fandom (because with one exception, all the smut fic not written by me is in Japanese) and wincing at the translation fail.
I would love for Ao3 to be more than just another (almost-all) English archive, and for the ability to cross link fandoms despite the names, and generally see more of what's out there.
