Bag Meme
In lieu of me telling you how work was more monkeying files and how I'm needing some serious touch right now, I thought it would be more fun to do this bag meme going around. Because it's nice to show something from my everyday life and not because I recently traded my ripped canvas bag for a nicer model.
This is my bag. It's leather, and just barely too small for K-book to fit inside. Which is fine, because I don't use her much anyway. It also has flowers on the front, but that is to be expected. That's Shan on the right.
These are my mitten-glove hybrids I bought for my birthday last year. Yes, I am individually photographing every item separately because I do not want to spread things out while there are cats around. That's Jido's back leg in the top left.
This is what I carry my lunch around in. It also doubles as an emergency shopping bag.
This is my keychain of doom. Contained on it's loopies are my ORCA card, my keys, the USB drives Teal Deer and Akiyama, the duck keychain that was Muu's first gift to me, a Chococat keychain, and a Cal Academy keychain from my trip to SF last year. It also interfaces with two backpacks, one of which we still have. Between this and my wallet, I don't know what would be the bigger catastrophe to lose.
This is Hekiko, my music player, mood regulator, and workout manager. Of course it's pink. There are also butterfly stickers on the back.
This is my wallet. It's impressively designed, but sadly impractical because the closing strap has nothing to fasten to.
This is my current reading material. Yes, really.
Rainbow umbrella. I live in Seattle.
Folder full of K-Pop lyrics (romanized and hangul), it fits because it's bendy and I have nothing against taking advantage of that.
Ibuprofen. My one nod to preparedness.
Writing utensils.
Mysterious white envelope. It comes with both a paystub and a timecard.
And that is what you would find inside my bag if you had x-ray vision. If I were going to be more practical, I'd have lotion of some sort, lip-gloss, a hair-tie, and possibly nail clippers.

And a folder of k-pop lyrics? o.o That's actually genius. I need something like that.
I don't really use a bag unless I'm traveling far but I always have paper and a pen in my pocket (and my wallet but it never has money so it's mostly for show because it's a chain wallet). xD

Heh, weirdly I almost never carry paper on me (except for the lyrics sheets, multifunction, yay!), but a tiny notebook probably wouldn't be a bad idea if I were to ever bow down to practicality.

I tend to doodle when I get bored so if I don't have paper, I end up looking through my wallet for old receipts to doodle on or I end up drawing on my hand, so that's why I've learned to carry paper (usually just some scraps). And bah, practicality never did anything for you, so why bow down to it? xD
