Random notes on the state of Dagas/Jais

1. Right now I'm going through songs on my I-pod to cull the useless from my playlist. I'm sure it will take me days, but it needs done.
   
   
2. My Russian teacher on voting (paraphrased): "I'm from the land that produced Lenin and Stalin. We all lined up and voted, and there were very serious men looking over your shoulder to make sure you voted properly. 96% voter turnout and everyone voted for the same person 'cause he was the only person on the ballot. So yes, you can vote all you want."
   
   
3. A bee stung my finger this morning during my Islam class. Ouch. First thing I did after class was get some non-drowsy antihistimine, and a bottle of green tea.
   
   
4. Muu just bought himself an I-pod, because those little things are cool. His is black and named Qvackers. Mine is white and named Lana. So we can tell whose is whose. Also his has cooler music on his, really.
   
   
5. I caved in and bought KHII. The prologue was beyond cheesy, and Roxas is so total wanker it's not even funny. Things really picked up when Sora came along though, and it's been fun since. (Muu is wonderful to have around when playing the game).
   
   
6. I had an eye exam on Thursday, and have a nice new set of frames coming in. There's an issue with the insurance, but I hope to have that worked out fairly soon.
   
   
7. Classes are settling down. I think I can handle this, even if some of the teachers are a bit more laid back with the standards of their courses. Some things still worry me, but I will so deal with them.
   

I guess that's it for now.

Whee, KHII!

You know, I don't think Roxas is a wanker at all. I think he takes everything really well, considering. I mean, he doesn't just go all emo and refuse to do anything. He gets mad. And when you've just been told, "Oh hey, you know, your life? It wasn't real. Your friends don't even know you. And by the way, you don't even exist in the first place." I mean...talk about someone who has rights to a litle emo!

Can't wait to hear more KHII reactions :D

It's not that I think his ultimate reaciton was unjustified, but something about the character bothered me, and not in the good way. I just found my self laughing at too many things that were unintentionally funny when playing as Roxas. And when the PoV switched to Sora, it stopped.
