A bit of Random Fandom things

So, I joined the AO3, as a place to collect most of my fanworks into one centralish location. So far I've uploaded most of my Kimahri drabbles into one story. And hopefully I can drag out some of my *embarassing* stories from AFF, some stories from LJ that I've never posted on FFN, some stories on FFN that have never been posted on LJ, some stories on alts I've never been on in years, etc.

I've also wanted to do some meta, looking both at my LG and FFX fanfictions. Plus how fanfiction is really integral to the way that I try and come to terms with real life events and concepts.

Also, I just realized, when FFN sends favorite story alerts: "The following member has added your story to her/his Favorite Stories list:" That tickles me more than it should.

One should focus on thesis though.

What's AO3?

http://archiveofourown.org/

Kind of FFN type archive that's supposed to be by fans/for fans. I figure I might as well try it out.

Someone else might be able to explain it better/more accurately.

Hrm, sounds interesting. I hadn't even heard of that. Then again, I'm mostly just at Teaspoon these days anyway.

It's a Doctor Who-specifc fanfic archive (http://www.whofic.com).

Looking forward to reading those Kimahri fics again; I'm sure I missed some of them!

You've probably gotten most of them, if not all of them.

Though, I must say, rereading them has sort of realized how much my current fics have in common with my past fics.
