Hello! I stumbled upon this entry while skimming through someone else's f-list.

Haven't read Liar Game in forever, but you've reminded me some of the reasons why I enjoyed it. Nao is a very counter-intuitive character, and it took me several chapters to get adjusted to her. In manga I haven't come across a character quite like her. In shoujo there are characters similar to Nao but often they lack self-awareness and fortitude. Part of it can be attributed to age -- although it's rare to find anyone quite like Nao even at college level. Her character is what makes Liar Game stand out for me.

By the way, do you have any recs for Liar Game fanworks? I'm curious what fandom is like.
