As the Rumor Mill turns

Before I go rambling to the next person I IM (I'll just send them the link to this entry) and without violating some supposed confidentiality standard (but I will defend myself by saying that at least two other people did before me) I got some very, very scary news. My Biology Muse a.k.a. Lai Kamen worked, she actually worked. I hear I got a first place on the National Science Olympiad for a subject that I have no understanding of and that half the questions didn't even touch my very limited source of knowledge (or is it the other way around?). Hear mind you, I haven't actually seen the list yet. Chard has, and he told Kris who congratulated me during 15 minute break.

And yes, this sounds like the basic run of the mill rumor. Kris came up to me and congratulated me as Me-chan and I walk down the hallway to the orchestra room for once (do you get the feeling that I'm in a rambling mood today?). *blink* That's all I could do. I made the sign that what she was saying was completely over my head. *woosh* And then she mentions the Science Olympiad. *woosh again* I'd heard nothing. She said that Chard had told her that I'd gotten first, and I'm thinking that I must have missed something important. So, of course Chard was in the orchestra room and he told me that he'd seen a copy of the list before.

I'm going to leave and return when I have something resembling a writing ability.
